Job Overview:</b> As a Server, you play a crucial role in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. You are responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders accurately, serving food and beverages promptly, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Your friendly and attentive demeanor will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.</p><p><b>
Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p>
1. Customer Service:</p><ul><li><p>
Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome.</p></li><li><div>
Assist guests with menu selections and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.</div></li><li><div>
Ensure prompt and courteous service throughout the meal.</div></li><li><p>
Address any customer inquiries, concerns, or special requests with professionalism and enthusiasm.</p></li></ul><p>
2. Order Management:</p><ul><li><p>
Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests.</p></li><li><div>
Input orders into the restaurant's POS (Point of Sale) system.</div></li><li><div>
Double-check orders for accuracy before submitting them to the kitchen.</div></li><li><p>
Coordinate special requests and dietary restrictions with the kitchen staff.</p></li></ul><p>
3. Food and Beverage Service:</p><ul><li><p>
Serve food and beverages promptly and according to established presentation standards.</p></li><li><div>
Perform tableside tasks, such as wine presentations and water service.</div></li><li><div>
Promote additional items, such as wine pairings, specialty cocktails, or dessert selections to enhance overall dining experience.</div></li><li><div>
Monitor guests' needs and promptly refill drinks, clear empty plates, and provide additional items as requested.</div></li><li><p>
Ensure that all meals are served correctly, with the appropriate condiments and accompaniments.</p></li></ul><p>
4. Cleanliness and Organization:</p><ul><li><p>
Set up and clean tables before and after guest use.</p></li><li><div>
Ensure the dining area is clean, well-maintained, and properly stocked with utensils, napkins, and condiments.</div></li><li><p>
Assist in overall restaurant cleanliness, including helping with dishwashing and cleaning tasks as needed.</p></li></ul><p>
5. Teamwork:</p><ul><li><p>
Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.</p></li><li><p>
Communicate guest feedback and special requests to the appropriate team members.</p></li></ul><p>
6. Upselling and Promotion:</p><ul><li><p>
Promote daily specials, desserts, and beverages to increase sales.</p></li><li><p>
Suggestively sell additional items or upgrades to enhance the guest experience.</p></li></ul><p>
7. Compliance:</p><ul><li><p>
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including food safety regulations.</p></li><li><div>
Follow company policies and procedures regarding alcohol service and guest conduct.</div></li><li><p>
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.</p></li></ul><p><b>
Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>
2+ years of previous upscale and fine-dining service experience is preferred.</p></li><li><div>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</div></li><li><div>
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high level of service excellence.</div></li><li><div>
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.</div></li><li><div>
Team player with a positive attitude.</div></li><li><div>
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.</div></li><li><p>
Knowledge of wine and spirits is required.</p></li></ul><p><b>
Physical Requirements:</b></p><ul><li><p>
Must be able to lift trays of food and beverages.</p></li><li><div>
Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.</div></li><li><p>
Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as necessary.</p></li></ul><p>
