- Operate and maintain lathe machines for precision machining of mechanical parts.- Fabricate machine components as per engineering drawings and specifications.- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment.- Identify wear and tear, replace parts, and make necessary adjustments.- Ensure proper alignment, levelling, and calibration of mechanical systems.- Maintain workshop tools and ensure safety compliance.- Collaborate with the engineering team on mechanical design improvements.- Keep detailed documentation of all maintenance and repair work.REQUIREMENTS- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Fitter/Machinist certification.- Strong hands-on experience in conventional lathe operations.- Skilled in fabrication, turning, threading, and finishing techniques.- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.- Strong attention to detail and a safety-conscious attitude.- Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatic, and welding (preferred).- Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of liquid filling, sachet, and tube filling machines, as well as mixers, gears, and motors.- Proficient in ensuring smooth equipment performance, reducing downtime, and improving machine reliability.Interested candidates can send their resumes to hr@utm.com.pk with the subject line &ldquo;Sr. Technician &ndash; Mechanical.Job Type: Full-timePay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
