These automation solutions include Robotics, Precision Motion &amp; Controls, Machine &amp; Process Controls, Process Instrumentation, Fluid Power products, Power Units as well as customized and integrated solutions.JOB SUMMARY:The Electrical Designer will work with a multi-disciplined team of engineers to provide electrical design packages for PLC and VFD control panels.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<ul><li>Design PLC control panels and VFD enclosures</li><li>Proficient with AutoCAD</li><li>Develop neat, well-organized drawings meeting established standards</li><li>Self-motivated to research assigned projects, new drafting techniques and increase job related knowledge</li><li>Communicate any issues or design mistakes found with dimensions and constructability to the Project Manager during drawing development along with the correct solution</li><li>Develop work products that require a minimum of &ldquo;rework&rdquo; due either to errors/omissions or poor visual presentation</li><li>Specify panel components</li><li>Assist with equipment material submittals</li></ul>REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:<ul><li>Proficient knowledge of NEC electrical code as it pertains to panel design, power circuit layout and grounding</li><li>Ability to work on several projects simultaneously with varying scopes and effectively prioritize workload to ensure deliverables are met</li><li>Strong interpersonal, listening, questioning and communication skills (written and oral)</li><li>Strong work ethic, ability to learn hands-on, and attention to detail is critical</li><li>Ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally</li><li>Knowledge of UL508 and UL698 standards, a plus</li><li>Knowledge of Arc Flash and Short Circuit rating calculations for control panels, a plus</li><li>Knowledge of Harmonic analysis for VFD panels, a plus</li></ul>EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Associates degree or certificate of completion from an accredited drafting program</li><li>Five (5) or more years of drafting experience including scaling, drawing layout, lettering and a high degree of accuracy</li><li>Two (2) or more years of electrical designer experience including development of schematics, wiring diagrams, and material lists</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you currently reside in the greater St. Louis, MO area?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>drafting and electrical designer: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person

LOUIS, MO AREAJOB SUMMARY:The Controls Engineer will use analytical skills to examine and improve a process or increase productivity. They will troubleshoot issues with hardware and processes, and plan preventative maintenance. They will also assist in implementing predictive maintenance plans and analyzing plant processes to improve their expertise in electronics, engineering, and mechanics.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<ul><li>Lead all phases of a control systems project: feasibility, estimating, requirements definition, design, implementation, startup/commissioning</li><li>Support estimating of project costs and schedules based on preliminary scope</li><li>Define the system functional and user requirements based on specifications, schematics, P&amp;ID&rsquo;s, existing controller programs and applications, interviews with key client stakeholders</li><li>Develop a system architecture design that includes PLC/HMI/DCS, IO, industrial network, compute infrastructure</li><li>Collaborate with our Project Manager to meet project expectations for scope, budget, and schedule</li><li>Communicate regularly with Project Manager and other project stakeholders on status, risks, costs and schedule</li><li>Collaborate with other Control Engineers as a part of an integrated delivery team on larger complex projects</li><li>Lead design reviews with client&rsquo;s key stakeholders to ensure solution meets technical, system, user requirements</li><li>Travel to client site for discovery, requirements definition, and startup and commissioning of control system projects</li><li>Maintain expertise and awareness on latest technology trends and vendor/partner offerings to make informed recommendations to clients that align with their needs and desired business outcomes</li><li>Other duties/tasks as assigned.</li></ul>REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:<ul><li>Experience developing industrial automation system architectures, control system programs, industrial networks, and reporting/information solutions based on sound design methodologies, industry standards, and technical knowledge</li><li>Understanding of how PLC&rsquo;s operate and communicate with external devices, systems, and networks</li><li>Proficient in at least one PLC programming software and HMI/Scada software and application development</li><li>Process and electrical troubleshooting skills</li><li>Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills</li><li>Strong work ethic, ability to learn hands-on, attention to detail</li><li>Ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally</li></ul>EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Minimum of Technical degree AND/OR</li><li>1+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer in the SCADA field</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $62,000.00 - $69,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
