From design and layout to turnkey installation and startup, we deliver high-quality systems that keep industrial operations safe, compliant, and efficient.PEILLP.COMThe Role: We&rsquo;re looking for a talented Designer / Sales Engineer who wants to break into the dust collection industry. You&rsquo;ll start by designing and laying out industrial dust collection systems using CAD and your mechanical expertise. Over time, this role will transition into a sales position where you&rsquo;ll engage directly with clients, present solutions, and help grow our business. This position is located in the Central Texas area. (SA, New Braunfels, Austin)What You&rsquo;ll Do:<ul><li>Create detailed CAD layouts for dust collection and air filtration systems.</li><li>Design equipment, ductwork, and system integrations with accuracy and attention to detail.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers, field crews, and manufacturers to ensure designs are practical and buildable.</li><li>Support proposals and technical documentation for clients.</li><li>Participate in site visits and project planning sessions.</li><li>Transition into a sales role, leveraging your technical knowledge to provide solutions and build client relationships.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field OR equivalent relevant experience.</li><li>Strong mechanical background with CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).</li><li>Experience in layout, detailed design, and mechanical drafting.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.</li><li>Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.</li><li>Curiosity and willingness to learn about dust collection, industrial ventilation, and safety standards.</li></ul>Preferred Skills:<ul><li>Experience with industrial ventilation, HVAC, or process piping systems.</li><li>Interest in client-facing sales and solution-based consulting.</li><li>Knowledge of NFPA standards and industrial compliance.</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Hands-on experience in industrial air filtration and dust collection.</li><li>Clear growth path into a client-facing sales role with significant earning potential.</li><li>Exposure to diverse projects and industries.</li><li>Collaborative, supportive environment with mentorship opportunities.</li><li>Pay is DOE.</li></ul>Applications without CAD experience will not be considered.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in New Braunfels, TX 78132
