Inventory Analysis &amp; Optimization
<ul><li>Conduct deep-dive analyses of inventory data to identify trends, root causes of variances, and opportunities for improvement.
</li><li>Evaluate demand forecasts, lead times, and order quantities to support right-sized inventory levels and prevent both shortages and overstock situations.
</li><li>Process Design &amp; Improvement
</li><li>Map and evaluate existing inventory control processes end-to-end; identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities.
</li><li>Design and implement improved workflows, controls, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent execution and data accuracy.
</li><li>Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to reduce process waste and improve efficiency.
</li><li>Partner with IT to optimize ERP/WMS configurations, ensuring accurate inventory transactions and integration across departments.
</li><li>Systems &amp; Data Management
</li><li>Maintain high standards of data integrity across all inventory systems (ERP, WMS, MRP). &middot; Collaborate with IT and operations teams to implement system enhancements and test new functionalities.
</li><li>Create automated reporting tools and exception-based alerts to proactively monitor inventory health and compliance.
</li></ul>Cross-Functional Collaboration
<ul><li>Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for inventory control processes and systems.
</li><li>Collaborate closely with procurement, production, logistics, finance, and quality assurance teams to ensure accurate alignment of inventory strategy with business objectives.
</li><li>Support financial reconciliation and physical inventory counts, ensuring discrepancies are identified, analyzed, and resolved.
</li></ul>Performance Tracking &amp; Reporting
<ul><li>Develop and present detailed reports and insights to leadership on inventory health, cost reduction opportunities, and operational performance.
