Senior Mechanical Engineer, Design and Supervision (MMUP-Grade A is mandatory) Job DescriptionThe Senior Mechanical Engineer- Design- Supervision, shall contribute to manage and execute contracts that includes design, supervision, design verification, coordination, testing and commissioning of the works, with emphasis on meeting the contract requirements with respect to quality, time and budget; during the design, construction and completion phases of major building projects.A typical work would include but not limited to:1. Ability to design and detail Air Conditioning systems and installations for various building facilities, from individual villas to multi-story buildings, industrial buildings, institutional buildings, schools, hospitals, hotels, etc...2. Ability to design and detail Fire Fighting systems and installations for various building facilities, including multi-story buildings, industrial buildings, institutional buildings, schools, hospitals, hotels, etc...3. Ability to design and detail Plumbing, Drainage and Mechanical installations for various building facilities, from individual villas to multi-story buildings, industrial buildings, institutional buildings, schools, hospitals, hotels, etc...4. Ability to perform MEP coordination with other discipline engineering by modelling, detailing, resolving clashes and mismatching and issue coordinated IFC models/drawings for various building facilities, from individual villas to multi-story buildings, industrial buildings, institutional buildings, schools, hospitals, hotels, etc...5. Contribute into design, coordination and technical review meetings6. Knowledgeable and Conversant with the Civil Defense and Ashghal requirements those relevant to the design and detailing scope listed under bullets 1 to 4.7. Contribute into project planning, progress and technical review meetings8. Implement procedures for inspection approvals, testing, commissioning in accordance with the requirements of the contract and ensure the implementation of those procedures by inspection team9. Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.10. Review method statements and monitor quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual HSE plan / QCS specifications and safety and health risk assessments.11. Maintain records for activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.12. Review and comments changes and variations to scope, specification and schedule as raised by Contractor13. Liaison and coordination with other Engineers in the design office for effective coordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines14. Prepare surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site and nonconformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.15. Follow-up to ensure the Contractor liaises with service and other authorities in a timely manner. Liaison with officials of involved Government Ministries/Departments for approvals16. Review and comment submission related to interim and final payments17. Review and comment submitted Contractor&rsquo;s mark-up and as-built drawings18. Contribute in technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues that may arise on siteRequirementsWe'd love to hear from you if you have:&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (No Diploma is acceptable).&middot; A Minimum of 10 years' experience (5 years in the field), at least 3 years&rsquo; experience in Qatar or GCC region.&middot; MME Grade A Certification is mandatory requirement and chartered status is an advantage&middot; Competent in using computer software for analysis and design of the Mechanical and HVAC Systems.&middot; Preferred in-depth knowledge of software includes but is not limited to Carrier-E-20 for Heat/Cooling Load Calculation and ELITE 6.03 for Hydraulic Calculation for Fire Sprinklers&middot; AutoCAD / Revit design skills&middot; Proven good communication skillsJob Type: Full-timePay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR15,000.00 per month

Senior Electrical Engineer Design-Supervision (Grade-A is mandatory)Job DescriptionThe Senior Electrical Engineer- Resident, shall contribute to manage and execute contracts that includes meeting the contract requirements with respect to quality, time and budget; during the construction phase of major building projects.A typical work would include but not limited to:1. Demonstrate the ability to design and detail electrical systems and installations for various types of buildings, including residential villas, multi-story structures, industrial facilities, institutional buildings, schools, hospitals, and hotels.2. Ability to design and detail ELV systems including fire alarm, CCTV, access control, public address, structural cabling, data/IT networks, and other low-current systems for various building facilities such as multi-story buildings, industrial facilities, institutional buildings, schools, hospitals, and hotels.3. Perform full MEP coordination with all engineering disciplines through modeling, detailing, clash detection, and resolving inconsistencies. Responsible for issuing fully coordinated IFC models and drawings for various building types.4. Fully knowledgeable and conversant with Qatar Civil Defense and Ashghal requirements relevant to the design, detailing, and coordination scope listed above.5. Contribute into project planning, progress and technical review meetings6. Implement procedures for inspection approvals, testing, commissioning in accordance with the requirements of the contract and ensure the implementation of those procedures by inspection team7. Ability of design of electrical distribution and lighting schemes for various facilities from individual villas to multi-storied blocks (internal &amp; external) and industrial units.8. Ability to design power flow, sound systems, security system, fire alarm system, lighting protection, telecommunication and computer system distribution, AMF Panel and UPS system9. Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.10.
