Progyny is seeking a highly motivated Legal Product Operations Associate to provide support to our team on a broad range of legal and compliance matters related to legal support for product development and management. This will include partnering with both internal and external parties to ensure we meet all deliverables in a timely and accurate manner. What you'll do...</div><ul><li><div>
Develop policies and processes for legal and compliance projects primarily related to development and maintenance of Progyny&rsquo;s suite of women&rsquo;s health products</div></li><li><div>
Drive initiatives and develop and manage projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of legal operations</div></li><li><div>
Collaborate cross-functionally with all departments on product implementation and maintenance projects</div></li><li><div>
Create project plans identify risks and mitigation plans when the project may not meet expected deadlines or requirements, ensure accountability.</div></li><li><div>
Investigate and resolve problems that impede project success</div></li><li><div>
Analyze operational performance of projects after execution to measure project success.</div></li><li><div>
Compile and provide responses to legal reporting requests</div></li><li><div>
Identify and implement new processes to streamline cross functional collaboration</div></li><li><div>
Work closely with the legal and compliance teams to ensure our controls and processes are followed and properly documented</div></li></ul><div>
About you...</div><ul><li><div>
Minimum 3-5 years&rsquo; experience, including in-house managed care experience</div></li><li><div>
Experience with project planning and management, regulatory submissions, compliance and the licensing process is preferred</div></li><li><div>
Knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA and related regulations affecting health benefit plans is preferred</div></li><li><div>
Highly organized and detailed oriented</div></li><li><div>
Excellent communication skills</div></li><li><div>
Experience in the Reproduction Field or Women&rsquo;s Health Field is a plus</div></li></ul><div></div><div>

Legal Operations and Product Specialist

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Healthcare Product Counsel to support new strategic initiatives and product development and commercial growth. This role manages a team of two. In this role, you will drive measurable value, instill trust, and develop cross functional relationships built on expert legal advice. You will collaborate with other members of the legal team and our product, engineering, and technology teams to ensure a high level of regulatory compliance in the development of new product offerings.</div><div></div><div>

Coordinate and consult with Legal colleagues to ensure alignment across departmental initiatives incorporating multiple legal perspectives.</div></li><li><div>
Guide and advise Product, Engineering, Technology and other operational teams across the entire product development lifecycle, from concept through launch</div></li><li><div>
Draft, revise, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including vendor and partner agreements, ensuring appropriate consideration is made for legal requirements and business objectives to support product growth.</div></li><li><div>
Develop and share healthcare and legal expertise with others, including disseminating best practices, playbooks and templates</div></li><li><div>
Provide solution oriented legal advice and guidance to business stakeholders on a broad range of legal issues, including product, regulatory compliance, and various contracts.</div></li><li><div>

About you&hellip;</div><ul><li><div>
Must currently possess a Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school and be a member in good standing of at least on state bar.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Subject matter expertise in healthcare compliance, specifically around fully insured health or disability products.</div></li><li><div>
Experience: 5-7+ years of healthcare contracting and compliance experience within health plan/insurance or healthcare industries.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Negotiation and Influence: Strong skills in contract review and negotiation, collaboration, and relationship management, with the ability to influence key stakeholders effectively.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Communication Excellence: Expertise in presenting complex information and insights in ways that resonate with diverse audiences.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Strong interpersonal skills, and people management experience. Player coach leadership with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within your team</div></li><li><div>
