We are looking for a <b>Fiber Design Review Coordinator</b> to help with fiber design reviews.<br>
<br>
<b>What you&rsquo;ll do</b></p><ul><li>
Develop new initiatives proactively for network design process improvements and work cross-functionally to make decisions about priorities. Drive programs across product areas, show leadership and influence across teams.</li><li>
Develop and manage the engineering design process flow to accelerate Fiber to the Home (FTTH) designs that includes highly constructible job packages through final as-built completion.</li><li>
Manage engineering vendor workload and production to achieve critical milestones.</li><li>
Develop and maintain a high standard or quality control for design process, including prompt troubleshooting and creative problem-solving for any equipment and/or design issues identified.</li><li>
Manage the production of efficient designs for new development, network relocations and network upgrades.</li><li>
Provide effective and comprehensive support of network deployment and other cross-functional teams.</li><li>
Communicate quality issues with the engineers and field engineers to find resolutions.</li><li>
Approve designs before submittal to clientele.</li><li>
Manage and enforce engineering quality and compliance with outside plant design specification.</li><li>
Accurately depict new construction route opportunities, with the ability to identify, research and problem solve cable path/placement issues and accurately relay solutions to the engineering team.</li><li>
QA/QC of the following OSP aspects including identifying issues, researching possible solutions, making corrective proposals, and tracking updates to projects end.<ul><li>
Bill of Materials (BOM)</li><li>
Splice Sheets (SS)</li><li>
Fiber Construction Drawings</li><li>
Permit Drawings</li><li>
Single Line Drawings (SLD)</li></ul></li></ul><p><b>
Do you have what it takes?</b></p><ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience</li><li>
3 years of experience with FTTH infrastructure.</li><li>
Experience in construction on new outside and inside plant (OSP/ISP) fiber infrastructure.</li><li>
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adjust delivery to your audience as needed.<br>
<br>
Preferred Experience</li><li>
Expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), 3-GIS, AutoCAD drafting capabilities.<br>
</li><li>
Comprehensive knowledge of Fiber Optic network equipment, various OSP architectures,<br>
 splice operations, configuration and overall system design.</li><li>
Knowledge of BOM creation including material research for different markets and OSP architectures.</li><li>
Knowledge of SS creation and an ability to identify SS issues that originate in various stages of design.</li><li>
Ability to create and review Fiber Construction Drawings for various architectures.</li><li>
Knowledge of ROW/easements for various municipalities and experience with local city<br>
utility permitting.</li><li>
Knowledge of SLD creation at the F1 and F2 level projects.</li><li>
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Proficiency in Google G-Suite including drive, docs, sheets, drawing, and presentation.</li><li>
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office programs including Excel.</li><li>
Intermediate working knowledge of Google Earth/Maps.</li><li>
Exemplary communication skills with excellent presentation skills. Ability to represent project from business, product and technical perspectives.</li><li>
Excellent time management.</li></ul><p><b>

$28-$34/hr. depending upon experience</li><li>
