<ul><li>Job Title: Procurement Assistant III</li><li>Client: Northrop Grumman</li></ul>Location: Hopkinton, MA &ndash; 65 South Street (MA11)<ul><li>Telecommute: No</li></ul>Clearance Required: None Work Schedule: 9/80 (Every other Friday off) Shift Hours: 7:30 AM &ndash; 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch) Travel: NoneWe are seeking a Procurement Assistant III to support procurement operations by coordinating supplier communications, managing requisitions, and ensuring on-time delivery of materials.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Send Requests for Quotes (RFQs) to suppliers and prepare purchase requisitions in SAP.</li><li>Follow up with buyers to confirm pricing and quote approvals.</li><li>Track supplier performance and ensure on-time delivery.</li><li>Utilize SAP MRP and Microsoft Office for daily procurement activities.</li><li>Support team members to meet delivery and cost objectives.</li></ul>Basic Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum 1 year of experience with SAP MRP systems.</li><li>At least 1 year of purchasing experience.</li><li>U.S. Citizenship required.</li><li>Strong communication and computer skills.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>2+ years creating purchase requisitions in SAP.</li><li>2+ years handling RFQs and managing suppliers for on-time delivery (OTD).</li></ul>Work Environment &amp; Training:<ul><li>Join a 14-member collaborative team focused on delivering products on time.</li><li>A 1-week hands-on training with the current Procurement Assistant, followed by ongoing support.</li></ul>Ideal Candidate Profile:<ul><li>Around 2 years of SAP requisition/purchasing experience.</li><li>Strong organizational, problem-solving, and people skills.</li><li>Ability to manage suppliers effectively and think creatively.</li><li>No certifications required.</li></ul>Job Type: ContractPay: $30.67 - $33.93 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekApplication Question(s):<ul><li>How many years of experience do you have in creating purchase requisitions in SAP?</li><li>How many years of experience handling RFQs and managing suppliers for on-time delivery (OTD)?</li><li>Can you confirm your U.S. citizenship status, which is required for this position?</li><li>Do you have at least 1 year of experience using the SAP MRP system for purchasing activities?</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Hopkinton, MA (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: On the road
