 The selected candidate will support project managers and join teams specialized in risk management, operating on consulting projects for the main banking and financial intermediaries groups.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 MAIN TASKS:
 
 
 
 The successful candidate will join a specialized team based in Istanbul, operating within credit risk modelling and advisory projects for financial intermediaries. The senior consultant will support the project managers in the management of the activities relating to the following areas:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Development and implementation of risk parameter estimation (PD, LGD, EAD), satellite and ECL (IFRS 9) models;
 </li>
 <li>
 Development and implementation of portfolio models (Credit VaR) and stress testing;
 </li>
 <li>
 Model validation;
 </li>
 <li>
 Credit risk advisory;
 </li>
 <li>
 Advanced Analytics.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree with excellent marks in Economics/Finance, Statistics or Engineering coupled with sound quantitative knowledge.
 </li>
 <li>
 At least 3-5 years working experience in credit risk modelling.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 REQUIREMENTS:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Proficiency in both verbal and written English;
 </li>
 <li>
 Practical application of statistical modelling techniques;
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience of using mathematical/statistical computing software or other data mining skills;
 </li>

 Proficiency and hands-on experience in coding with
 
 Python and/or R

 Hands-on academic and/or industry experience on one or more of the frameworks and libraries: pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, sci-kit-learn is nice tohave

 </li>

 RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 
 
 The successful candidate will collaborate with a specialized team of business consultants and IT resources, operating within different projects for financial intermediaries. Key responsibilities include:

 Critical analysis of large volumes of banking/insurance data.

 Understand customer requirements for data management processes, focused on Data Warehouse and Data Lakehouse.
 </li>
 <li>
 Make data-related decisions by analyzing, manipulating, tracking and reporting structured and unstructured data.

 Deliver functional and technical analysis for data and meta-data.
 </li>
 <li>

 DWHs, Datamarts and DBMS structure and functionalities.
