Job Summary We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video and Social Media Producer and Editor to produce a weekly live podcast with political, economic, and philosophical content. Applicants should see our current material on Youtube @PrometheanAction and @PrometheanInDepth to see if this job is a good fit. The show will include some variation of the following: live questions via zoom, have video and audio b-roll live, and be posted to X, Youtube and Rumble. We will also need clips posted on Instagram, X, and TikTok. Willing to train on the job with people who have real world experience and a strong interest in the topic area. The focus is to build the channel and social media presence over the next 6 mos. We are currently getting 7k videos per video and would like to achieve 50k with an emphasis on the under 40 audience.Duties<ul><li>Develop the best platform for live video production that can integrate b-roll into live presentations.</li><li>Have a clear interest in the content, able to collaborate on content and show topics, and a commitment to expand social media presence of the show.</li><li>Produce a 5 min intro video graphic based on relevant content.</li><li>Implement social listening techniques to monitor brand reputation, industry trends, and audience feedback across multiple channels.</li><li>Collaborate with public relations teams to craft messaging that supports branding initiatives and enhances relationship management efforts.</li><li>Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency before publication.</li><li>Stay updated on the latest trends in social media marketing, digital marketing strategies, e-commerce integration, and video editing techniques to continuously improve content quality.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Experience and or strong interest in live video production using zoom, and streamyard or riverside software.</li><li>A strong interest in the show topic, able to adapt and learn quickly, and an interest in weekly collaboration to ensure a growing audience for the show.</li><li>Experience or strong interest in weekly live video production and post-production.</li><li>Proven ability to use social media effectively.</li><li>Proven experience in video production, editing (Adobe Premiere Pro), graphic design (Adobe Photoshop &amp; Illustrator), and social media management.</li><li>Some knowledge of SEO best practices and social listening tools.</li><li>An ability in content creation across multiple formats including photography, video editing, graphic design, and branding materials.</li><li>Familiarity with digital marketing strategies aimed at increasing audience engagement is a plus.</li><li>Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail in messaging consistency.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong relationship management skills.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 per monthExpected hours: 8 per weekApplication Question(s):<ul><li>What would you say is the primary focus of Promethean Action content on Youtube and online?</li></ul>Willingness to travel:<ul><li>25% (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
