Position Summary:

As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with development teams to design, develop, and execute test strategies, automation frameworks, and test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our applications. 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Test Strategy and Planning: Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans, including test cases, test data, and test environments.</li>
<li>Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools.</li>
<li>Test Execution: Execute manual and automated tests, analyze test results, and report defects.</li>
<li>Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to ensure that applications meet scalability and performance requirements.</li>
<li>Security Testing: Perform security testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.</li>
<li>Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure that quality is built into the product from the beginning.</li>
<li>Requirement Analysis: Analyze functional and non-functional requirements to ensure testing coverage and identify any early gaps in the development lifecycle.</li>
<li>Mentorship: Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on both testing and automation best practices.</li>
<li>Practical Software Use Cases: Collaborate with our professional services and product teams to become an expert on specific Prometheus Group product(s) that are used by our customers.</li></ul> 


Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.</li>
<li>5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test.</li>
<li>Strong programming skills in languages such as or C#, Java or Python,</li>
<li>Demonstrated expertise in architecting, supporting, and enhancing tools and frameworks within continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.</li>
<li>Experience leading junior QA members in test case definition and automation as well as overall test strategy.</li>
<li>Comprehensive knowledge of test and dev infrastructure, pipelines, and the ability to innovate within these domains.</li>
<li>Proven ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product management, and professional service teams</li>
<li>A results-driven approach, guided by data and comfortable tackling ambiguous or undefined challenges. You should be a builder, someone who is energized by practical problem solving (i.e. you&rsquo;re not looking for the perfect solution, but are instead coming up with a timely solution to a customer-impacting problem)</li>
<li>Experience with automated testing frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or TestComplete.</li>
<li>Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and experience working in a SCRUM environment.</li>
<li>Experience with both performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, LoadView) and API testing tools (Grafana, K6)</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills.</li>
<li>Experience with cloud-based testing environments, particularly AWS.</li>
<li>Knowledge of security testing methodologies and tools.</li>
<li>Experience with or a keen interest in scaling automation within a CI/CD pipeline.</li>

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Software Engineer Frontend to serve as the technical anchor for the ePAS product. This individual will focus primarily on the frontend but should be highly capable working on the backend and thinking across the entire product.

This individual will lead architecture, design, implementation, debugging and mentoring efforts, elevating the productivity and quality of the entire engineering team. The candidate we&rsquo;re seeking combines deep expertise across MAUI, React, .NET, PostgreSQL and modern CI/CD pipelines with a proven ability to mentor, troubleshoot, and deliver production-grade solutions.

<li>Own branching strategy, version control workflows and enforce standards across the engineering team.</li>
<li>Manage build and release pipelines: GitLab CI, .NET CLI, Dockerfile setup, macOS security CLI (certificate/app signing), debugging macOS GitLab runners via VNC.</li>
<li>Oversee CI/CD orchestration: Argo CLI and kubectl for internal-dev deployments, AWX administration and S3 backup workflows, GitLab token lifecycle management, app-store delivery process (iOS/Android).</li>
<li>Debug and upgrade supporting systems including Java Spring backend services and Keycloak authentication/authorization components.</li>
<li>Work with orchestration APIs (e.g., S3 API, Kubernetes API) and integrate with GitLab and S3 APIs for automation.</li>
<li>Perform or coordinate manual UWP builds, manage ABM (Apple Business Manager) device profile administration, certificate provisioning and renewal.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with product management, infrastructure and DevOps teams to deliver a cohesive end-to-end solution; act as a technical thought-leader across disciplines.</li>
<li>Preferably, manage Keycloak operations (configuration, policies, integration) and ensure identity-access workflows integrate tightly with the mobile/web stack.</li></ul>
