We are seeking for an experience Senior Sales Engineer who will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the internal sales operations for the mechanical product portfolio within the distribution business unit, including Tescom pressure regulators, high-pressure pumps, and air-operated diaphragm pumps.
This role centers on managing quotation processes, coordinating technical and commercial activities, handling order execution, leading the internal sales team, and supporting external sales initiatives to foster business growth across the Middle East. In addition, the Senior Sales Engineer provides leadership and coaching to the internal sales team, ensuring that customer inquiries, quotations, and orders are processed efficiently and accurately.

The Senior Sales Engineer provides technical consultation, product selection support, prepares techno-commercial offers, negotiates pricing and contract terms, and supports product prequalification with national oil companies and key clients.
In addition, the role requires strong market and competitive analysis to formulate sales strategies aligned with customer needs and market dynamics. The Senior Sales Engineer conducts site and field visits to deliver tailored solutions, responds to complex engineering challenges with bespoke mechanical and instrumentation solutions, and identifies new vendors to strengthen the product portfolio. Close collaboration with operations, customer service, and internal stakeholders ensures smooth order execution, reliable delivery, and sustained long-term customer.
This position plays a critical role in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, particularly within oil &amp; gas, petrochemical markets. Responsibilities include expanding the customer base, managing key accounts, maintaining relationships with end users, EPC contractors, and channel partners, and identifying new business opportunities.
Qualifications / Skills &amp; Experience
Education<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in mechanical, Instrumentation or Electrical engineering or a related discipline</li><li>
Candidates with a relevant Business degree and strong technical sales experience may also be considered</li></ul>
Essential<ul><li>
Minimum (5-8) years of proven sales and business development experience in the Middle East Oil &amp; Gas sector, with demonstrated involvement in EPCs, end users, or oilf field service providers.</li><li>
Demonstrated history of working with a mechanical wholesale distributor or with prior experience in handling Mechanical services to the oil and gas industry</li><li>
Previous experience working with clients like ADNOC, Dubai Petroleum, Qatar Energy, Qatar Gas LNG, Aramco, and supplying to the Oil &amp; Gas industry.</li><li>
Valid UAE driving license</li><li>
(4-7) years of experience in sales of pumps, fluid handling equipment or fittings</li><li>

Ability to accurately read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&amp;IDs) and other technical drawings, and to prepare bids for detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs).</li><li>
Provide expert technical consultation and product selection support for pressure regulation and pressure-pumping system applications, ensuring solutions meet performance requirements and customer needs.</li><li>
Sales Experience with AODD (Air-Operated Double Diaphragm) pumps is advantageous.</li><li>
Strong understanding of project sales cycles and EPC procurement processes.</li></ul>

The role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies, managing key relationships with end users, EPCs, consultants, and channel partners, and identifying new business opportunities across oil &amp; gas, petrochemical, power, and industrial sectors.
Provides technical consultation, customized mechanical and instrumentation solutions, and onsite support tailored to customer applications. Liaise with clients on techno-commercial proposals, support product prequalification with national oil companies, and identify new vendors to strengthen and expand the product portfolio.
Collaborates closely with internal sales, operations, CSR, and principals to ensure smooth order execution, timely project delivery, and high customer satisfaction, while analyzing market trends and competitor activity to strengthen market positioning and ensure compliance with company policies.

Review the contract PO and understand the scope of work, project objectives &amp; KPI</li><li>
Follow the engineering centre process, procedures while engineering all products or projects</li><li>

Lead the Project for the timely submission of all Engineering Deliverables including drawings, datasheets and Bill of materials as per the project schedule and SDRL compliance</li><li>

Prepare and develop the BOM as per Contract specifications responsible for uploading &amp; releasing BOM in tool AX 12.</li><li>
Highlight any Engineering deliverable or items not within the scope and prepare for the techno commercial details for variation order or deviations through change management procedure</li><li>
Responsible for getting reviewed all documents prior to issuing for clients approval</li><li>
Prepare the Engineering Change request (ECR) and Co-ordinate with Engineering team lead for Engineering Change Order Approval (ECO)</li><li>
Active participation in HAZOP/HAZID studies associated with live projects where ever applicable</li><li>
Active participation in reviewing the technical details of vendor items, preparation of technical clarifications and technical bid evaluations.</li><li>
Work with SCM to ensure BOM are reflected in demand and PO are sent to vendor on time, also check OA in line with BOM &amp; project requirements</li><li>
Provide remote support to Production during fabrication, assembling and internal testing for any technical clarifications and details required</li><li>
Provide support to Production &amp; Quality in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) with Client, technical scope verification and preparation of punch list etc.,</li><li>
Team leadership in terms of workload delegation and balancing, constructive feedback, training, coaching, mentoring, goals setting and time management.</li><li>
Full alignment to techno- commercial and have complete access on AX project module and keep data, project margin, project cost are up to date at all time.</li><li>
Have complete ownership on delivering project and achieving project objectives 
Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management.</li><li>

The Senior Field Service Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of primarily Day-to-Day inhouse services, testing, and maintenance activities for customer assets, primarily related to hydraulic control panels, pressure test units, gas boosters, instrumentation, and rotating equipment in Proserv Workshop as well as on-site services of Flushing, Pressure testing and commissioning.
The role requires close coordination with service coordinators, project engineers, and senior field personnel to ensure all documentation, tools, and equipment are prepared in advance and that service activities are completed in accordance with technical instructions, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
The technician is also accountable for accurate documentation, reporting, and customer interaction, ensuring Proserv is represented professionally at all times. Continuous improvement is expected through lessons learned, performance reviews, and adherence to company values and safety culture.

Fluent in English with the ability to prepare clear technical and inspection reports.</li><li>
Proven commissioning and field service experience, preferably with WHCPs, HPUs, and control panels.</li><li>

This role reports into the PMO Director but will work closely with the Business Unit SVP/VP on an operational basis.
The Business Unit Manager of Projects will be responsible for the oversight and management reporting of all projects within their Business Unit. This role is a combined one, as they will also carry out the roles and responsibilities of the Manager of Projects (MoP).
The Business Unit Manager of Projects will support all Projects within their Business Unit, to ensure they meet their goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). They will support the Manager of Projects in each BU location to maintain the correct headcount to meet the workload requirements &ndash; including Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Senior Project Coordinators, Project Coordinators, Project Planners and Document Control.
They will also lead the monthly PSR meetings and management reporting, and act as the first level of escalation for the project teams and clients, ensuring all concerns are reviewed, mitigation prepared and presented to the client and communicated to the Business Unit SVP/VP and PMO Director.

Position base limited to one the following countries: UK (Norfolk), USA (Houston), Norway (Trondheim), India (Chennai) or Dubai full time. The base will normally be where you are situated unless mutually agreed otherwise for business requirements.</li><li>
Standard working hours but occasionally will be expected to work extended hours to meet critical deadlines.</li><li>
It is not expected that the Manager of Projects will have to work offshore.</li><li>
It is expected that the Manager of Projects will have to visit other facilities and main Subcontractors during Projects.</li></ul>
