Family Office ManagerWe are looking for a CPA with strong accounting and tax skills who wants to expand into wealth management for high-net-worth business owners. You'll be the right hand to our Family Office Director, managing the personal accounting, tax planning and projections, and investment coordination for our 7-8 figure clients.This is a strategic role coordinating comprehensive financial services - ensuring our clients' personal accounting, tax strategies, and investment management all work together seamlessly. Read more about us at prosperent.co/aboutYour ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship &amp; Coordination:<ul><li>Work directly with the Family Office Director to coordinate all client services</li><li>Attend client meetings to present financial reports, tax projections, and investment updates</li><li>Manage the personal accounting, tax, and investments work</li><li>Proactively identify tax savings and financial optimization opportunities</li></ul>Personal Accounting:<ul><li>Prepare and oversee personal accounting for high-net-worth households</li><li>Prepare personal financial statements (PFS)</li><li>Responsible for personal bookkeeping, bill pay (not yet), and cash management</li><li>Track personal assets, liabilities, income, and expenses across multiple entities</li><li>Manage cash needs projections</li></ul>Tax Planning &amp; Management:<ul><li>Prepare tax projections and scenario analysis for complex situations</li><li>Prepare and coordinate tax strategies across personal, business, trust, and estate returns</li><li>Conduct tax research and recommend strategies to minimize tax liability</li><li>Manage quarterly estimated payments and ensure timely filings</li><li>Lead client tax strategy meetings</li><li>Stay current on tax law changes</li></ul>Systems &amp; Process:<ul><li>Maintain organized client files and documentation</li><li>Track and meet all client deadlines</li><li>Implement technology systems for efficient service delivery</li><li>Generate regular client status reports</li></ul>Must Have:<ul><li>Active CPA certification</li><li>Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (Master's in Taxation preferred)</li><li>3-5 years of tax preparation and planning experience</li><li>Strong accounting skills and ability to prepare financial statements</li><li>Experience preparing complex personal and business tax returns</li><li>Genuine interest in personal finance and wealth management</li><li>Proficiency with QuickBooks Online</li><li>Strong Excel and tax projection software skills</li><li>Excellent communication and client-facing abilities</li><li>Strong organizational and project management skills</li><li>High integrity and discretion with confidential information</li></ul>Nice to Have:<ul><li>Experience with financial planning software</li><li>Experience with business owners and entrepreneurs</li><li>Exposure to investment and financial planning concepts</li><li>Knowledge of estate planning and wealth transfer strategies</li><li>Familiarity with family office concepts</li></ul>Who You Are:<ul><li>Strategic thinker who sees the big picture</li><li>Proactive problem-solver</li><li>Collaborative team player who works well independently</li><li>Committed to continuous learning</li><li>Client-service oriented</li><li>Intellectually curious about the intersection of tax, accounting, and wealth management</li></ul>Position Details<ul><li>Remote, part-time to start, can turn into full-time position</li><li>Set work hours during PST business hours</li><li>Work directly with the Family Office Director in a key strategic role</li><li>Professional development support and growth opportunities</li><li>Collaborative, positive team culture</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hourExpected hours: 25 per weekWork Location: Remote
