The Team
The IT Desktop Support Engineer provides high-quality onsite and remote technical support for end users across Windows and Apple environments. Your background
<ul><li>A bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business Administration or a related discipline is required.
</li><li>1-2 Years of experience of relevant experience in plant maintenance or a similar industrial environment.
</li><li>Good verbal &amp; written communications skills and ability to interact with diverse groups.
</li><li>Proficiency in both spoken &amp; written in English &amp; Arabic language is required.

In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of all operations. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing robust HSE policies and practices to identify and mitigate hazards in manufacturing and maintenance activities. You will lead initiatives to foster a proactive safety culture, ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards, and support the factory&rsquo;s sustainability and carbon neutrality goals.

<ul><li>Conducting inspections, safety observation tours, and audits across production lines, assembly areas, and maintenance workshops.
</li><li>Ensuring and monitoring HSE legal requirements on regular basis with all the legal authorities
</li><li>Preparing the fire risk assessment and operational plan and good knowledge about the fire pump station and fire protection equipment.
</li><li>Supporting businesses in meeting the HSE KPIs, develop and drive HSE strategic actions
</li><li>Implementing and maintaining the HSE Management System aligned with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Hitachi Energy global standards.
</li><li>Managing change and risk assessment and environmental aspect and impact assessment.
</li><li>Performing risk assessments (ABRA) and LSR self-assessments for all factory operations, including electrical and mechanical processes.

</li><li>Compiling all NCs, prepare corrective action and follow up for closure of NCRs.
</li><li>Providing advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to environmental and employee health and safety.
</li><li>Leading initiatives for hazardous materials management, including preparing manifests for disposal and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
</li><li>Delivering induction and job-specific HSE training for employees and contractors according to the training calendar.
</li><li>Investigating incidents and near misses, prepare detailed reports, and drive correct and preventive actions.
</li><li>Promoting employee engagement and safety awareness campaigns to strengthen the safety culture.
</li><li>Supporting the factory&rsquo;s carbon neutrality program and sustainability objectives.
</li><li>You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
</li><li>Good knowledge of Egyptian legal requirements related to HSE and to be covered absolutely in full compliance.
