This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, rewarding setting.Duties<ul><li>Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and serve with professionalism and enthusiasm.</li><li>Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.</li><li>Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing, billing, and cash handling.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations.</li><li>Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management and prioritization skills.</li><li>Upsell menu items to increase sales while providing detailed descriptions to enhance guest experience.</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for bills and tips, and balance cash drawers at shift end.</li><li>Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and resolve any service issues promptly.</li><li>Adhere to all food handling procedures, alcohol service laws, and safety protocols to guarantee a safe environment for guests and staff alike.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.</li><li>Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently without sacrificing quality of service.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.</li><li>Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering, retail math calculations, and cash handling tasks.</li><li>Experience working in catering or banquet settings is advantageous.</li><li>Must possess a friendly demeanor, adaptability, and a team-oriented attitude to thrive in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or restaurants.
