Job SummaryWe are looking for a Civil Site Engineer to oversee and manage earthwork activities across infrastructure and construction projects throughout Tamil Nadu. The role involves supervising excavation, filling, leveling, and compaction works, ensuring quality standards, and coordinating manpower and machinery at multiple sites.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Supervise excavation, embankment, backfilling, and compaction works at site.</li><li>Coordinate with surveyors for levels, alignments, and setting out.</li><li>Oversee deployment of earthmoving equipment (excavators, dozers, graders, JCBs, dumpers, compactors).</li><li>Conduct soil and compaction tests in line with MORTH / IS specifications.</li><li>Monitor daily progress and prepare work reports for multiple sites.</li><li>Ensure safety compliance and environmental protection during operations.</li><li>Manage subcontractors, machinery operators, and local labor teams.</li><li>Liaise with Project Manager/Client engineers regarding quality and timelines.</li><li>Travel to different project sites within Tamil Nadu as required.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Diploma/B.E. in Civil Engineering.</li><li>2 years of experience in earthwork/site execution (roads, highways, irrigation, industrial layouts, or rail projects preferred).</li><li>Knowledge of Tamil Nadu PWD norms, MORTH specifications, and IS standards.</li><li>Ability to work across different districts of Tamil Nadu.</li><li>Hands-on experience with survey instruments (Auto Level, Total Station).</li><li>Strong site coordination, manpower handling, and reporting skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Tamil for local labor communication; basic English/Hindi an advantage.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From &#8377;20,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Cell phone reimbursement</li><li>Commuter assistance</li><li>Food provided</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person

Site Engineer (Civil)

Job Purpose:To manage, estimate, monitor, and control the costs related to earthwork and infrastructure construction projects. Ensure that project costs are controlled efficiently, contracts are managed properly, and accurate billing is done as per site execution.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Estimation &amp; Costing</li><li>Prepare detailed cost estimates for earthwork, roadwork, excavation, filling, embankment, and related civil works.</li><li>Analyze BOQs (Bill of Quantities), drawings, and technical specifications.</li><li>Prepare rate analysis for earthwork (cutting, filling, compaction, borrow area, transport, etc.).</li><li>Measurement &amp; Billing</li><li>Take site measurements of executed earthwork.</li><li>Prepare client bills, RA bills, and subcontractor bills as per actual work.</li><li>Ensure correct measurement books (MB) are maintained.</li><li>Contracts &amp; Documentation</li><li>Verify subcontractor agreements, work orders, and scope of work.</li><li>Monitor contract compliance and variations.</li><li>Maintain records of quantity, cost, and claims.</li><li>Cost Control &amp; Reporting</li><li>Monitor actual costs vs. estimated costs.</li><li>Highlight deviations and cost overruns to the Project Manager.</li><li>Prepare daily/weekly/monthly quantity and cost reports.</li><li>Coordination &amp; Site Support</li><li>Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and clients.</li><li>Support in planning and scheduling by providing quantity data.</li><li>Assist in tender preparation and bidding for new projects.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills:<ul><li>Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.</li><li>2- years&rsquo; experience in earthwork / infrastructure projects (roads, highways, site development, embankments).</li><li>Knowledge of MS Excel, and billing software.</li><li>Strong knowledge of IS codes, MoRTH specifications (if road/highway project).</li><li>Good negotiation and contract management skills.</li><li>Ability to prepare rate analysis and BOQ independently.</li></ul>Preferred Background:<ul><li>Experience in earthwork, highways, canals, site grading, or land development projects.</li><li>Exposure to government contract billing (PWD, NHAI, State Highways) is an advantage.</li><li>Willing to travel and stay at project sites in Tamil Nadu.</li></ul>Pay: Minimum (Rs.15,000) &ndash; Maximum (Based on experience) per monthJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:<ul><li>Cell phone reimbursement</li><li>Commuter assistance</li><li>Food provided</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Internet reimbursement</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
