Job Description

About the Role:<ul><li>
Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.</li><li>
Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company, adhering to strict time management practices.</li><li>
Utilise specialised cleaning equipment and products, provided by us, with full training to ensure effective and safe use.</li><li>
Build strong, professional relationships with fellow staff members, guests, and contractor personnel to support a positive and productive work environment.</li><li>
Conduct regular inventory checks of cleaning supplies and linens, reporting any shortages or issues to the housekeeping supervisor.</li><li>
Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional amenities or services, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.</li><li>
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals and waste materials.</li><li>
Report any maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns observed in guest rooms or common areas to the appropriate department.</li><li>
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of housekeeping storage areas and service corridors.</li><li>
Participate in periodic deep cleaning projects and special assignments as directed by management.</li><li>
Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficient room turnover.</li></ul> 
Qualifications 
<ul><li>
Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded</li><li>
Physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to handle repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods</li><li>
Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided)</li><li>
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with guests, team members, and contractors</li><li>
Positive attitude, team spirit, and a strong work ethic</li><li>
Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays as required</li></ul>
