As a Dispatcher, you will take charge of daily operations, focusing on building and maintaining relationships with Clients, Contractors, Customers, and Employees. Your role is essential in ensuring seamless delivery operations, overseeing owner-operators, and managing loading, dispatch, and client relations.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">

Schedule: short-term Dispatcher, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position. 40 hours/week</li><li>

Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>
Coordinate accurate and efficient loading/unloading of vehicles for the delivery of retail home products.</li><li>
Ensure merchandise is properly received, staged, and stored.</li><li>
Track key performance indicators to maintain an efficient operation.</li><li>
Monitor weekly financial reports and settlements to ensure contractor goals are met.</li><li>
Conduct ride-alongs and evaluate contractors for skill development opportunities.</li><li>
Handle claims and ensure appropriate charges are assigned.</li><li>
Recruit Independent Owner Operators and assist in building their teams.</li><li>
Oversee the maintenance of delivery/service vehicles as scheduled.</li><li>
Lead delivery teams to ensure timely delivery of products.</li><li>
Review and optimize scheduling and routing procedures.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with DOT and OSHA requirements.</li><li>
Set performance goals and monitor progress.</li><li>
Train and coach the assistant manager and all staff.</li><li>
Foster positive relationships with HR and client representatives.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
What We&rsquo;re Looking For:</h3><ul><li>
Experience: High school diploma or 3+ years of dispatching experience in logistics/transportation.</li><li>
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), strong verbal and written communication.</li><li>
License: Valid Driver&rsquo;s License.</li><li>
Bilingual Spanish speakers Preferred.</li></ul>
