The Opportunity</b></p><p>
You will lead the interior design process from concept through project completion. This role requires a strong balance of creativity, technical expertise, client communication, and project management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and understands how beautiful design translates into successful construction.</p><p></p><h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Primary Responsibilities</b></h1><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Design</b></h3><ul><li>
Develop interior design concepts that align with client goals and project budgets.</li><li>
Create mood boards, finish palettes, and presentation materials.</li><li>
Produce space plans, furniture layouts, and interior elevations.</li><li>
Select materials, finishes, plumbing fixtures, lighting, cabinetry, flooring, hardware, paint, and furnishings.</li><li>
Stay current on design trends, products, and building materials.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Technical Documentation</b></h3><ul><li>
Prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications.</li><li>
Produce cabinetry drawings and millwork details.</li><li>
Coordinate lighting, electrical, and finish plans.</li><li>
Ensure drawings are construction-ready.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Client Experience</b></h3><ul><li>
Lead client design meetings and presentations.</li><li>
Guide clients through design decisions with confidence.</li><li>
Manage revisions while maintaining project schedules.</li><li>
Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the design process.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Project Coordination</b></h3><ul><li>
Collaborate with Project Manager, Project Coordinator, architects, and owners.</li><li>
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.</li><li>
Assist in budgeting and value engineering.</li><li>
Conduct site visits to ensure design intent is executed accurately.</li><li>
Resolve field issues related to design and finish selections.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Procurement</b></h3><ul><li>
Source materials and products.</li><li>
Request pricing and manage vendor relationships.</li><li>
Track selections, orders, lead times, and deliveries.</li><li>
Maintain organized specification and selection documents.</li></ul>

Qualifications/Experience</b></h1><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Required</b></h3><ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.</li><li>
3+ years of residential interior design experience.</li><li>
Experience working on remodeling and custom home projects.</li><li>
Strong understanding of residential construction methods.</li><li>
Excellent presentation and communication skills.</li><li>
Strong organizational and project management abilities.</li><li>
Familiarity with local building codes.</li><li>
Photography or styling experience for completed projects.</li><li>
Strong understanding of luxury residential finishes and furnishings.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Technology Skills</b></h3><p>
Preferred experience with::</p><ul><li>
SketchUp</li><li>
AutoCAD or Revit</li><li>
Adobe Creative Suite</li><li>
Microsoft Office / Google Workspace</li><li>
Chief Architect (preferred)</li><li>
Canva (preferred)</li><li>
