As a Distribution Account Manager you will be the critical connection point that ensures our distributors have the most seamless, profitable, and supportive experience in the industry. You will be an operational expert and a brand ambassador, focused on maximising distributor readiness and accelerating the speed at which they can bring Pure's cutting-edge solutions to market. This role is a foundation for a career in Channel Sales and Operations, offering vast exposure across our Go-to-Market teams.

The Role</h3>

The Distribution Account Manager is a high-impact role within Pure Storage's Global Channel Sales function. This position acts as the primary operational and administrative liaison for our distributor community, directly influencing our indirect revenue growth. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day relationship, ensuring program compliance, resolving operational roadblocks, and identifying process efficiencies that enhance the overall partner experience.

What You'll Do</h3>

Your primary focus will be optimising our distributor's engagement and operational efficiency:
<ul>
<li>Accelerate Deal Flow &amp; Compliance: Execute high-volume pipeline management tasks, including timely approval, rejection, extension, and reassignment of deal registrations to maintain a clean and accurate sales pipeline in Salesforce.</li>
<li>Drive Partner Operational Excellence: Serve as the first point of contact for all systems-related issues, including troubleshooting portal access, login credentials, CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) issues, and license allocation.</li>
<li>Enable Program Mastery: Proactively communicate, explain, and provide updates on complex distributor program details, requirements, and incentives (including the Rebate Portal) to ensure full comprehension and compliance.</li>
<li>Facilitate Readiness &amp; Training: Guide distributors to access mandatory and optional sales, technical, and certification training resources to increase their competency and sales effectiveness.</li>
<li>Operational Streamlining &amp; Documentation: Assess current operational processes, identify friction points, and contribute to streamlining efforts. Document new processes and best practices for the distributor community.</li>
<li>Support Channel Engagement: Assist in driving partner attendance for distributor marketing events and manage proactive follow-up to maximise conversion and engagement ROI.</li>
<li>Data &amp; Reporting: Generate accurate, timely reports and data insights for Quarter Business Reviews (QBRs) and Return on Investment (ROI) analysis for leadership.</li>

We are looking for a highly organised, service-oriented professional eager to build a career in Channel Operations:

<li>Operational Acumen: Experience providing high-quality support or account management in a fast-paced technology or B2B environment, specifically working with partners, resellers, or distributors.</li>
<li>Sales Technology Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency with core sales systems, including Salesforce (SFDC) and partner management portals (e.g., Partner Central), with a strong ability to manage data and pipeline hygiene.</li>
<li>Process &amp; Detail Orientation: A high degree of accuracy and focus on detail, with proven ability to analyse current processes and identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency gains.</li>
<li>Communication &amp; Service Mindset: Excellent, professional standard verbal and written communication skills in both English and Russian, with the ability to explain technical and programmatic details clearly, coupled with a professional, customer-first service approach.</li>
<li>Collaboration &amp; Interlock: Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple internal teams (e.g., GPO Sales, Channel Ops, Marketing) to resolve complex issues quickly.</li>
<li>Drive for Development: Strong desire to grow expertise in Distribution Account Management and Channel Marketing, actively seeking out and participating in development opportunities.</li>

 THE ROLE</h2>

Pure Storage Acquired Portworx in October 2020, Creating the Industry's Most Complete Kubernetes Data Services Platform for Cloud Native Applications. This acquisition represents Pure's largest to date and our deeper expansion into the fast-growing market for multi-cloud data services to support Kubernetes and containers.

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Account Executive to join our team, focusing on cultivating and closing deals related to Portworx. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about building relationships, enjoys a collaborative environment, and is eager to make a significant impact in the tech industry. WHAT YOU'LL DO</h2>
<ul><li>Grow a territory and manage deals from land to expand, doing major account planning/selling</li>
<li>Work through partners in order to drive new business opportunities through them</li>
<li>Understand prospect and customer use-cases in order to drive new business</li>
<li>Plan and manage the relationships at both the strategic and operational level</li>
<li>Evaluate new opportunities and present recommendations to the management team</li>
<li>Conduct competitive and market intelligence sessions for customers</li>
<li>Work closely with the rest of Portworx sales/pre-sales/SDR and engineering teams
</li><li>Give enablement sessions both 1:1 and 1:many in order to spread the word on Portworx</li>
<li>Leverage all available documentation, best practices, knowledge-base articles and other vehicles to assist customers</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">WHAT YOU BRING</h2>
<ul><li>8+ year's experience in selling Enterprise software and subscription software</li>
<li>A basic technical understanding of the Enterprise software, Container, cloud native, and storage domains</li>
<li>Ability to present Portworx's UVP, product, vision, strategy, and road map</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, able to build relationships easily and deepen them over time</li>
<li>Avid hunter with proven prospecting skills, consistently opening doors to new customers and navigating seamlessly between the boardroom and the data center while passionately positioning the advantages of a Portworx solution</li>
<li>Authenticity and a genuine desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges</li>
<li>Thought leadership, creativity and a Challenger Mindset; the ability to apply your customer insights and expertise in technology solutions to position Pure's portfolio to solve persistent problems</li>
<li>Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency</li>
<li>Expertise leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, while fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with Partners</li>
<li>Consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving referenceable business</li>
<li>Passionate about post-sales customer success</li>
<li>Business language fluency in Turkish and English</li>
</ul>
 Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
