Description</b></h2></div><div><p>
The Warehouse Support Rep II serves as a leadership position within the warehouse, with primary responsibility for assisting the Operations Support Specialist and ensuring the efficient operation of our Columbus facility. This role also provides coverage during staff absences, maintaining continuity across all warehouse functions and supporting team members as needed.</p></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Responsibilities</b></h2></div><div><p><b>
Daily functions may consist of one or all the following:</b></p><p>
Lead operations by ensuring freight being processed correctly, operation staffed appropriately and audit pieces for accuracy</p><p>
Process freight on the floor as needed: loading &amp; unloading trailers</p><p>
Administrative Processing:</p><ul><li>
Create routing sheet within Beacon (ERP system) so operations is aware of what customers and which trucks will be processed</li><li>
Set up the first truck for departure; involves paperwork preparation</li><li>
Create labels as needed for specific customers</li><li>
Create report itemizing piece count for the day, weight of line hauls, numbers of skids, etc.; ensure Induction and Branch ops reports are complete</li><li>
Check TSD exception report to ensure no local trucks listed under the exceptions</li><li>
Customs CCI and PARS process scanning and email</li><li>
Beacon data entry</li><li>
Train new hires and lead cross training between warehouse &amp; office processing</li><li>
Communication with internal departments (i.e., District Quality Service Managers &amp; Customer Support) to ensure accurate freight processing, product track &amp; trace, updates on issues, guidance on decision making with customers</li><li>
Communicate with drivers &amp; carriers to schedule pick-ups; on an as needed basis</li><li>
Carry out other duties as appropriate and as assigned by his/her manager</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Experience</b></h3></div><div><ul><li>
Minimum 2 years of warehouse operations &amp; freight processing experience</li><li>
Knowledge of ERP systems</li><li>
Microsoft Office (Excel &amp; Word)</li><li>
Experience leading a team preferred</li><li>
Flexibility for occasional shift change during peak season</li><li>
This is a physical, fast-paced position that involves continual lifting, lowering, and sliding packages that typically weigh 25-35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs.</li><li>
Must be able to work in varying temperature conditions during the seasons</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
