Compensation
The compensation target range for this role is:
$25.50 - $30.00
Job Summary
This role is Monday - Wednesday, 7:00a - 7:30p. The Production Line Manager is an important leader responsible for a
 
team of operators working within a specific value stream (production
 
line). They are accountable for achieving performance goals for key
 
metrics including Safety, Quality, Throughput, Cost, Uptime, and Work In
 
Progress (WIP). They operate their production line safely and efficiently.
 
They ensure their employees are safe and wear personal protective
 
equipment (PPE). They approve time sheets, keep roll sheets updated, and
 
ensure shift changes happen seamlessly. They drive daily 5S and
 
workplace organization activities, ensure operator equipment
 
maintenance duties are performed. The line manager helps the team
 
surface problems and implements process improvements<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Job Description</h2>
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Works side by side with operators to reach production goals and</li></ul>
ensure standard work processes are being followed 
Reports production metrics to upper management 
<ul><li>Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning</li></ul>
personnel 
<ul><li>Establish priorities; monitor progress; revise schedules; report</li></ul>
results of the processing flow on shift production summaries 
<ul><li>Initiates and coordinates production systems, policies, and</li></ul>
procedures 
<ul><li>Uses Lean Manufacturing principles to surface problems and</li></ul>
implementing process improvements to reduce costs and improve 
quality 
<ul><li>Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting</li></ul>
processing variables; observing control points and equipment; 
monitoring personnel and resources 
<ul><li>Maintains a clean, organized work environment by following 5S</li></ul>
principles and procedures. 
<ul><li>Maintains staff by assisting in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and</li></ul>
training employees 
<ul><li>Maintains equipment by leading team members in, operator</li></ul>
preventative maintenance (OPM), ensures operation of 
equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and 
techniques 
<ul><li>Coaches, counsels, and holds employees accountable to</li></ul>
standard work instructions 
<ul><li>Perform other duties as required or assigned</li></ul>
Required Skills, Education, Experience:<div><ul><li> 
High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree preferred</li><li>Prior experience in manufacturing</li></ul></div><div>

Environmental Conditions may occasionally include: 
<ul><li>Noisy open office environment</li><li>Noisy production environment</li></ul></div>
Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a drug screening and a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
Work Hours (Good Faith Estimate):
This full-time position is expected to work approximately 30-40 hours per week. This is a good faith estimate, and actual hours may vary based on business needs.
