Job Role: Quality Engineer Lead Years of Experience: 8+ Years Job Location: Kolkata, Indore, Shillong Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science &amp; Engineering or Similar FieldJob Description:Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead and drive test automation and SW QA for different components.</li><li>Assist with manual testing for those components that are not easily automated.</li><li>Work with software developers to understand the software and propose a QA plan accordingly.</li><li>Able to add testing infrastructure support for unit test/isolation, limited logging, and selective testing.</li><li>Participate in cross-functional project teams with scientists, software quality, technical support, and other engineers.</li><li>Adhere to software development and source control processes</li></ul>Must have:<ul><li>Candidate must have Total 8+ years of experience in IT Industry</li><li>8+ years of experience in Automation Testing, QA.</li><li>2+ years of experience as a QA hands-on Lead or QA hands-on Architect.</li><li>Strong experience in coding using Java, selenium and TestNG/JUnit Strong experience in preparation and execution of Test Scripts for Functional and Non-Functional Testing.</li><li>API automation experience using rest assured or similar tech Postman/SoapUI experience.</li><li>Experience in developing Automation Frameworks from scratch.</li><li>Experience with BDD using Cucumber and TDD Experience with Atlassian suite, Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket Experience with Code repositories - GitHub and CI tools like Jenkins/Bamboo</li><li>Work as a member of an Agile SCRUM team delivering high-quality software in sprint environment.</li><li>Collaborate with product owners to understand requirements, new features, and resolve issues.</li><li>Document software issues and enhancement requests and assist the development of comprehensive steps for duplication of the defects found while performing manual functional, integration, and regression tests.</li><li>Convert manual regression scenarios to automated test cases.</li><li>Ensure that automated tests are integrated and executed reliably in the CI/CD environments.</li><li>Help diagnose, reproduce, and test fixes.</li><li>Ability to write SQL database queries.</li><li>Experience in Agile Software Development (Scrum and Kanban) Exceptional defect analysis and triaging skills.</li><li>Strong communication skills</li></ul>Nice to have:<ul><li>Experienced in SQL Joins and DB Testing Knowledge or experience with any mocking or virtualization tool sets.</li><li>Experience with any performance testing tools JMeter, K6 etc.</li><li>Experience in any one of the following tools:</li></ul>a.
