To help us continue to grow our offerings, we are looking for a Software Development Engineer 3 (SDE3). In this role, you will deliver business value by designing and developing high-quality software in a highly collaborative environment. This role reports to the Engineering Manager or Engineering Director.

Supervisory Responsibilities: May assist or mentor more junior team members, but no direct supervisory responsibilities.

What You'll Do:
<ul>
<li>Contribute to the design, development, testing, maintenance, and improvement of scalable software systems with a focus on high-volume, low-latency projects.</li>
<li>Apply standard techniques and limited judgment to solve complex problems, with increasing autonomy and responsibility.</li>
<li>Perform advanced debugging, write automated testing scripts, identify opportunities for refactoring code, and contribute to the design and architectural discussions.</li>
<li>Collaborate across teams, coordinating development efforts and sharing knowledge with peers to ensure project success.</li>
<li>Continuously improve code quality by writing efficient, high-quality, and testable code using frameworks such as Maven, Gradle, and Spring.</li>
<li>Analyze technical requirements and contribute to solutions that drive performance, scalability, and efficiency.</li>
<li>Actively contribute to the creation and definition of Epics/User Stories and project goals.</li>
<li>Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to improve software development processes.</li>
</ul>
What You'll Bring:

<li>Strong programming skills with experience in object-oriented languages and frameworks, with growing proficiency in applying design patterns.</li>
<li>Proficiency in debugging, writing automated tests, and solving technical challenges independently or with minimal supervision.</li>
<li>A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively across teams.</li>
<li>Initiative in learning new technologies, developing expertise in your area of focus, and contributing to continuous improvement in processes and code quality.</li>
<li>Accountability for your work, with a focus on meeting performance metrics such as GitHub contributions, velocity, and DORA benchmarks for software reliability and efficiency.</li>
<li>Ability to manage work priorities and independently handle more complex tasks with minimal guidance.</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Minimum Qualifications and Experience:</h3>
<ul><li>Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science or a related technical field.</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in software development, specifically in Java and Linux/Unix environments.</li>
<li>Experience working with video/audio tools such as FFmpeg or GStreamer.</li>
<li>Desired experience with C, C++, and/or Rust, and strong web application development skills using REST.</li>
<li>Expertise in distributed web application development, particularly with Docker and Kubernetes.</li>
<li>Familiarity with the application deployment lifecycle using automated pipelines (CI/CD).</li>
<li>Some relational database experience.</li>
<li>Proficiency working in terminal/command-line on Linux systems.</li>
<li>Comfort with using IDEs like IntelliJ or Eclipse and experience with debugging.</li>
<li>Experience with software version control, preferably using Git and GitHub.</li>
<li>Familiarity with GCP/AWS, NoSQL databases, oAuth, and message buses like Google Pub/Sub or RabbitMQ.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Ffmpeg and/or Gstreamer</li>
<li>Knowledge of database schema design, low-latency systems, or multithreading.</li>
<li>Experience with message queues and distributed systems.</li>
<li>Experience with databases such as MySQL, Cassandra, Postgres, or ClickHouse.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Unix hardware driver development.</li>
<li>Understanding of video streaming protocols such as RTMP, HLS, or DASH.</li>
<li>Experience with JavaFX and participation in community-built software applications and libraries.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), along with Docker and Kubernetes expertise.</li>
<li>Familiarity with CI tooling such as Jenkins, and Gradle.</li>
<li>Familiarity with generative AI development such as Claude, Copilot and Gemini</li></ul> 


Work Environment &amp; Physical Demands:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer will be required. This role consistently operates standard office equipment such as computers and phones. This is largely a sedentary role but may occasionally require lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending, or standing as necessary. The Sales Training &amp; Enablement Specialist is a critical role designed to maximize the performance of our sales team. You will own the execution of our new hire onboarding program and lead ongoing training initiatives to upskill our entire front-book sales organization. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in content creation, a deep understanding of the US faith market, and a passion for coaching others to success. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure our sales team has the knowledge, skills, and tools to effectively sell Resi's solutions.

What You'll Do:

<li>Onboarding &amp; Training: Own and execute the comprehensive onboarding program for new Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Account Executives (AEs) to ensure they are ramped quickly and effectively.</li>
<li>Content Development: Design, create, and maintain a library of engaging training materials, including presentations, videos, and job aids, tailored to our sales process and the US faith market.</li>
<li>Continuous Learning: Develop and deliver ongoing training programs focused on career development, product knowledge, competitive positioning, and advanced sales skills.</li>
<li>Performance Support: Provide targeted coaching and support for reps on Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), helping them develop the skills needed to succeed.</li>
<li>Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to translate product updates and market insights into actionable training content for the sales team.</li>
<li>Data Analysis: Analyze sales performance data and training effectiveness to identify skill gaps and measure the impact of enablement initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.</li>
<li>Tech Stack Proficiency: Serve as a subject matter expert on our sales tech stack (Salesforce, Outreach, DocuSign, Qwilr), providing training and driving adoption of best practices.</li>
</ul>
What You'll Bring:
<ul>
<li>Deep knowledge of the US faith market, specifically Protestant churches, including their buying cycles, decision-making processes, and unique needs.</li>
<li>Contextual understanding of the technical production environments within the US Faith Market</li>
<li>Proven ability to create compelling and effective training curriculum and content from scratch.</li>
<li>Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate metrics into actionable insights.</li>
<li>Familiarity with established sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Gap, etc.).</li>
<li>Knowledge of Google Suite preferred</li>
<li>Knowledge of Salesforce/CRM and Outreach/Salesloft preferred
</li><li>Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work independently.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a team environment and be open to change.</li>
<li>Must be detail-oriented and accurate.</li>
<li>Must be able to maintain confidentiality.</li>
<li>Ability to craft messaging that is relevant and compelling to ensure emails and presentations align with buyer pain points and motivations.</li>
<li>Strong presentation skills in small and large groups</li>
<li>Strong one-on-one interpersonal skills such as empathy, conflict resolution, patience, adaptability and flexibility.</li>
<li>Ability to listen closely to the sales team to understand the needs and challenges</li>
<li>Experience administering or creating content within a Learning Management System (LMS) preferred</li>
</ul>
Education and Experience:
<ul>
<li>2+ years of experience in a direct contributor sales role such as an SDR, Account Executive, or Account Manager.</li>
<li>2+ years of experience in a training, coaching, or enablement role involving content creation and delivery.</li></ul>
