 Position Summary
 
 
 
 Manages a staff of supervisors to ensure timely distribution of merchandise within the standards of budget, policies, procedures, and quality to satisfy the requirements of our customers including wholesale divisions.
 
 
 
 Essential Functions Of The Job
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Coordinates product flow, operations, and production planning in the preparation and execution of daily operations within the distribution center.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develops and implements methods for continuous improvement of quality, order turn-around, and productivity within established payroll and expense budgets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures adherence to procedures that promote the health, safety and welfare of all associates in the facility.
 </li>
 <li>
 Trains, mentors and develops supervisors&rsquo; development plans and professional growth.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitors cost and inventory controls to keep operating expenditures within acceptable budget limits and provides for alternate plans when necessary.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures efficient space utilization within the facility.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures facility and equipment are maintained in like new fashion Ensures assistant supervisors and warehouse workers are properly managed by supervisors at all times.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains floor visibility throughout facility to monitor/ensure plans are executed properly, and productivity is maintained.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Decision Making
 
 
 
 Plan for volume of business and corresponding staffing to achieve/exceed production goals. Direct supervision on daily priorities and resulting labor force distribution. Constant situational awareness and proactive decision making. Develops AD HOC operational plans and concepts to facilitate production and special. Handling requirements due to abnormal operating circumstances. Stimulates creative thinking to develop and enhance processes - increasing production and quality.
 
 
 
 Additional
 
 
 
 Some travel possible to corporate office, campus recruiting and other W&amp;D locations 850,000 sq. foot facility plus 150,000 sq. foot mezzanine w/ multiple levels.
 
 
 
 Qualifications &amp; Experience
 
 
 
 
 Experience:
 
 Minimum operational knowledge: Facility operation, planning and budgeting in a highly automated distribution environment. Knowledge of work methods across multiple job functions/departments, some indirect engineering, RF equipment and tilt-tray sortation.
 
 
 Minimum experience: Seven (7) years of proven, progressive management experience in a large distribution center. Automation background in apparel distribution and proven experience with both retail and wholesale distribution preferred.
 
 
 
 Education:
 
 Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related discipline is preferred but not required.
 
 
 
 Computer:
 
 Strong computer skills, WMS, Microsoft Office Suite, internet and ability to learn/use customized software.

About the Team:
Within our Warehouse and Distribution team, our mission is to ensure the efficient and effective movement and storage of products. This team serves as the backbone of our logistics operations, collaborating closely with other departments to deliver products on time and maintain inventory accuracy. This role is crucial to our operational efficiency, strategic growth, and overall success.
About the Role:
Responsible for scheduling and documentation of all outbound traffic. Contact customers and carriers to route shipments. Prepare records of shipments including Bills of Lading. Maintains pickup appointments information and pickup status. 
What You&rsquo;ll Do:<ul>
<li>
Responsible &amp; accountable for building relationships with customers and specific carriers. Routes and optimizes carriers&rsquo; freight. Make sure customers&rsquo; shipments start dates, cancel dates, and DC dates are met.</li>
<li>
Communicates issues information from customers&rsquo; &amp; specific carriers&rsquo; back to PVH customer service, PVH strategic services, and PVH transportation.</li>
<li>
Schedules between $10,000,000 to $25,000,000 of wholesale dollars and/or 100,000,000 to 250,000,000 units for customers&rsquo; shipments.</li>
<li>
Ensures load planning accuracy of cube and customers&rsquo; shipments on time arrival.</li>
<li>
Schedules for all outbound shipments based on customer routing requirements and carrier appointment schedules.</li>
<li>
Coordinates with customer logistics department and carriers to confirm that adequate equipment is on site.</li>
<li>
Prepare outbound paperwork ensuring it is complete and accurate.</li>
<li>
Maintains orderly files and shipping records for all outbound shipments. Research, pulls, and communicates requests for shipping documentation.</li>
<li>
Uses PKMS Warehouse Management System for shipment data to build loads, track/update shipment information, and research issues.</li>
<li>
Prepares commercial invoices for international shipping.</li>
<li>
Works with PVH customer service, PVH strategic services, and PVH transportation to set up new customer accounts.</li>
<li>
Requests extensions for customer PO&rsquo;s and communicates carrier/customer issues to PVH customer service &amp; PVH Strategic Services.</li>
<li>
Collaborates regarding customer chargebacks with PVH deductions/claims and merchandise coordinators.</li>
<li>
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness. Willingness to assist fellow associates.</li>
<li>
The ability to work with detailed information, analyze data, and make proper decisions.</li>
</ul>
What You&rsquo;ll Bring:<ul>

High school diploma required/Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred.</li>
<li>
Solid experience in distribution/shipping routing (2yrs min) or relevant experience.</li>
<li>
Strong written/verbal communication skills.</li>
