 The ITS/M&amp;A unit specializes in advising multinational clients on complex cross-border transactions and tax structuring. Our focus is on delivering strategic solutions that optimize tax efficiency while ensuring compliance with evolving international regulations. The team provides end-to-end support on mergers, acquisitions, and integrations, including due diligence, tax modeling, and post-deal planning. By combining deep technical expertise in international tax with advanced analytics and technology, we help clients navigate intricate deal structures, mitigate risks, and unlock value. Through global collaboration and thought leadership, ITS/M&amp;A drives innovative approaches to meet the demands of today&rsquo;s dynamic business environment.
 
 
 
 How You&rsquo;ll Contribute
 
 
 
 As a Senior Associate in international Tax Services / M&amp;A, you&rsquo;ll work as part of a team delivering complex cross-border tax solutions for mergers and acquisitions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop and apply technical expertise in international tax structuring, transaction advisory, and post-deal integration.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support end-to-end M&amp;A tax engagements, including due diligence, tax modeling, and implementation of structuring plans for regional and multinational clients.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze and interpret international tax rules and local regulations, preparing practical guidance and documentation for deal execution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in designing tax-efficient structures, coordinating with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure compliance and optimize outcomes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare high-quality deliverables, including reports, models, and presentations for senior team members and client leadership.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to project management and maintaining quality standards throughout engagements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to knowledge development, supporting the creation of playbooks, training materials, and thought leadership relevant to M&amp;A and international tax.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor regulatory updates, summarizing key developments for internal teams and clients to inform transaction planning.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in business development activities, assist with proposals, research, and scoping for new opportunities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support outbound transaction advisory, helping evaluate tax implications for investments and expansions into foreign jurisdictions.

 </ul>
 
 What You&rsquo;ll Bring
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Demonstrated experience in tax advisory, compliance, and international tax matters, ideally with exposure to Pillar Two regulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Designations &amp; Certifications: Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent.
 </li>
 <li>
 Technical Skills: strong knowledge of international tax principles, cross-border transaction structuring, and M&amp;A tax considerations and well as proficiency in tax due diligence, deal modeling, and integration planning.

 As a Senior Associate &ndash; L&amp;D Project Management at PwC Academy Middle East, you will play a pivotal role in driving large-scale learning and capability-building initiatives that enable our clients to achieve their transformation goals. You will manage the end-to-end delivery of learning projects &mdash; from planning and stakeholder engagement to execution and evaluation &mdash; ensuring that every engagement delivers measurable impact and excellence. Working at the intersection of project management and learning design, you will collaborate with subject matter experts, clients, and internal teams to create seamless, high-quality learning experiences that shape the future of talent development in UAE and across the region.
 
 
 
 Roles &amp; Responsibilities

 Planning and organizing
 </li>
 <li>
 Acknowledge the receipt of handover from the BD team and ensure that all necessary steps are completed before the delivery of the engagement (e.g.R&amp;Q completed, engagement letter/contract signed, etc.)
 </li>

 Initiate the set-up of client in the PwC internal systems/database (job codes, enrolment to client&rsquo;s portal.
 </li>
 <li>
 Organize and conduct a kick-off meeting with the relevant stakeholders
 </li>
 <li>
 Engagement of internal and external SMEs in the planning phase
 </li>
 <li>
 Project planning &ndash; scheduling, SME resourcing, initiation of SME&rsquo;s contracts, logistics for training delivery and for the SME Trainer briefing
 </li>
 <li>
 Setting up a communication plan
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage the content development phase
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicating the expectations from various stakeholders in terms of content, quality, timeline, etc.

 Manage the delivery phase

 Making sure that the delivery is as per plan &ndash; performing quality checks during the delivery of the course.

 Quality control

 Quality control on material, delivery and other client deliverables

 Analyzing and managing project risks

 Analyzing client and participant feedback for improvements

 Trainer performance analysis and overall trainer management

 Managing project economics/reporting

 Review and update PTs upon handover from the BD team.

 Monthly updating course manager dashboard

 Updating revenue forecast every week and to keep the internal stakeholders up to date

 Client billing and debtor management
 </li>

 Third party supplier/contractor&rsquo;s invoices

 Updating the project hub update
 </li>

 Client communications and management
 </li>
 <li>
 Client management and obtaining client feedback
 </li>

 Review and submission of post course reports
 </li>

 Organizing periodic update meeting with client to discuss overall status of the project
 </li>

 Account accelerators

 Maintain and develop strong relationships with client key contact

 Actively develop new relationships to widen network within the same client

 Identify any other training opportunities with the client.
