The Sprinkler Install Sr Technician is responsible for independently performing installation of fire sprinkler systems. This position demonstrates strong technical competency, may hold applicable licenses, and is capable of completing jobs independently. The Senior Technician may guide or support entry-level employees and contributes to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Independently perform installation of fire sprinkler systems.</li><li>
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for installation projects.</li><li>
Use hand tools and installation equipment to complete assigned tasks.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.</li><li>
Complete required documentation and installation reports accurately and timely.</li><li>
Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.</li><li>
Guide and support entry-level technicians and apprentices.</li><li>
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.</li><li>
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.</li><li>
Travel to job sites as required.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned by management.</li></ul> 
Education/Qualifications:<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
5+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry as a technician.</li><li>
NICET Level II or above preferred.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler system installation practices and applicable codes.</li><li>
Must have a clean driving record and active driver&rsquo;s license (if driving is required).</li></ul> 
Other Duties:<ul><li>
Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.</li><li>
Performs other duties assigned by management.</li></ul> 
Physical Requirements:<ul><li>
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.</li><li>
Ability to lift 50+ pounds.</li><li>
Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.</li><li>
Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.</li></ul>

Job Summary 
The Fire Sprinkler Fabrication Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a fabrication shop specializing in cutting, threading, and welding fire sprinkler pipes, as well as managing a fire extinguisher recharge station. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining quality control, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and collaborating with other departments to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Oversee the fabrication of fire sprinkler piping, ensuring adherence to NFPA 13 standards.</li><li>
Manage the fire extinguisher recharge station for timely and accurate servicing of equipment.</li><li>
Develop and implement production schedules to meet deadlines and customer requirements.</li><li>
Ensure all fabrication work meets quality control standards and specifications.</li></ul>
Team Supervision:<ul><li>
Supervise, train, and mentor fabrication shop personnel to promote safety, quality, and efficiency.</li><li>
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.</li><li>
Coordinate staffing levels and allocate resources to meet production demands.</li></ul>
Safety and Compliance:<ul><li>
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the shop.</li><li>
Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.</li><li>
Maintain documentation for safety inspections, equipment maintenance, and employee training.</li></ul>
Material and Equipment Management:<ul><li>
Oversee inventory of raw materials and finished products to meet production needs.</li><li>
Coordinate maintenance and repair of equipment to minimize downtime.</li><li>
Evaluate and recommend improvements to fabrication processes.</li></ul>
Coordination and Communication:<ul><li>
Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other departments to ensure seamless workflow and project execution.</li><li>
Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding specifications and timelines.</li><li>
Prepare and present reports on production metrics, safety, and quality performance.</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler fabrication or a related industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of fire protection and fire extinguisher materials and equipment.</li><li>
Proficiency in fabrication techniques such as cutting, threading, welding, and pipe fitting.</li><li>
Excellent leadership and team management skills.</li><li>
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>
Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>
Proficiency with fabrication shop equipment and tools.</li><li>
Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.</li></ul>
Physical Requirements<ul><li>
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.</li><li>
Comfortable working in a fabrication shop environment with exposure to loud noises, varying temperatures, and manual labor.</li><li>
Ability to safely operate fabrication machinery and tools.</li></ul>
Compensation:<ul><li>
Salary: $75,000&ndash;$90,000 annually (commensurate with experience and fit)</li><li>
Bonuses: Semi-annual discretionary bonuses</li></ul>
