Job Description 
Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and providing therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care services to patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. The role ensures safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with clinical standards and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Patient Care &amp; Clinical Responsibilities:</li><li>
Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.</li><li>
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and mechanical ventilation support as prescribed.</li><li>
Conduct pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic procedures.</li><li>
Monitor and evaluate patient response to therapy, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.</li><li>
Provide emergency respiratory support, including airway management and resuscitation assistance.</li><li>
Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory care techniques, home oxygen use, and equipment maintenance.</li><li>
Homecare &amp; Equipment Management (if applicable):</li><li>
Set up, calibrate, and maintain respiratory equipment (e.g., ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP machines, oxygen concentrators).</li><li>
Ensure all equipment is properly sanitized, maintained, and compliant with infection control standards.</li><li>
Conduct home visits to assess patient condition, compliance, and safety of home environment for respiratory therapy.</li><li>
Documentation &amp; Compliance:</li><li>
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment logs, and reports.</li><li>
Ensure adherence to DOH/HAAD/MOH guidelines and internal clinical protocols.</li><li>
Participate in audits, incident reporting, and quality improvement initiatives.</li><li>
Collaboration &amp; Education:</li><li>
Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care.</li><li>
Provide clinical input in developing patient care plans and protocols.</li><li>
Assist in training nursing and support staff on respiratory equipment and procedures.</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
Qualifications &amp; Requirements:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or Diploma in Respiratory Therapy (recognized institution).</li><li>
Valid DOH/MOH/DHA license or eligibility as a Respiratory Therapist.</li><li>
Minimum 2&ndash;4 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in a hospital or homecare setting.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of respiratory equipment, therapies, and clinical best practices.</li><li>
Excellent patient assessment and communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and manage multiple patient cases.</li></ul></div>

Job Description 
Summary:
The Nursing Supervisor &ndash; Homecare is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of high-quality nursing and patient care services within the homecare setting. This role ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, supports clinical staff, and promotes excellence in patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
 Performs supervisory and/or managerial duties as delegated.</li><li>
Provides governance, leadership, and direction in accordance with the organization's and department's goals and objectives.</li><li>
Provides for the professional growth and development of staff through the identification of needs, the development of services, and the encouragement of continuing education.</li><li>
Conducts reviews of staff skills and competencies. Ensure proper clinical orientation is rendered to newly hired nurses or healthcare professionals assigned to his/her area, as applicable to clinical staff.</li><li>
Promotes and supports a collaborative practice model</li><li>
Promotes an interdisciplinary team approach based on mutual respect and direct communication between health professionals.</li><li>
Participates in annual performance reviews of self and others.</li><li>
Acts as a role model and mentor to fellow staff.</li><li>
Actively participates in organizational change constructively.</li><li>
Acts as a preceptor to new staff as required.</li><li>
Lead, manage and supervise the work of the staff Nurses.</li><li>
Promote the highest standards of clinical nursing care.</li><li>
Accomplishes nursing human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.</li><li>
Help in assessment, scoring medical condition of new patients in co-operate with doctor, medical record officer and coder.</li><li>
Meets nursing operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.</li><li>
Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by monitoring confidential information processing.</li><li>
Identifies patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
Qualifications &amp; Requirements:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.</li><li>
Valid DOH/MOH/DHA Nursing License (or eligibility).</li><li>
Minimum 4&ndash;6 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role within homecare or community health.</li><li>
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Excellent knowledge of clinical procedures, patient care standards, and homecare regulations.</li></ul></div>
