Job At-A-Glance 
The Summer Internship Program spans 12 weeks (May 26 &ndash; August 14) and offers paid hourly positions averaging 40 hours per week. Interns gain invaluable hands-on experience in a professional environment centered around digital banking software and technology. 
In addition to your regular responsibilities, you&rsquo;ll participate in networking events, attend professional development workshops, and present to our Executive Leadership Team at the program&rsquo;s conclusion. Successful completion of the internship could potentially lead to a full-time position upon graduation. 
This role operates on a hybrid basis, requiring in-office presence three days per week in the Austin office.
A Typical Day 
We&rsquo;re seeking passionate individuals with strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills. As a Security Intern, you&rsquo;ll help protect innovative products used by 400+ financial institutions. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn alongside experienced security professionals while contributing to real-world cybersecurity operations.
What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>
 Monitor and triage security alerts from SIEM and endpoint tools</li><li>
 Assist with investigating security incidents and documenting findings</li><li>
 Support threat hunting and vulnerability assessment activities</li><li>
 Help maintain security documentation and processes</li><li>
 Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and IT teams on security best practices</li><li>
 Contribute to security awareness initiatives and training materials</li></ul> 
What You&rsquo;ll Bring<ul><li>
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.</li><li>
Interest in cybersecurity tools, scripting, or automation (Python, PowerShell is a plus)</li><li>
Strong analytical and communication skills.</li></ul>
This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.

SUMMARY
Q2 is seeking a FinOps Lead to build and drive our cloud financial management practice from the ground up. As the first dedicated hire in this function, you will have the mandate to define the strategy, select the tooling, and build the culture of cost accountability across our engineering organization.
You will act as the bridge between Finance, Engineering, and Procurement, translating complex AWS &amp; Azure data into actionable business value. You won&rsquo;t just &ldquo;report&rdquo; on costs; you will drive architectural efficiency and empower our engineers to make cost-aware decisions. This is a high-impact, founding role for someone who wants to write the playbook rather than just follow it.
RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Develop forecasting models and financial reporting for cloud spend.</li><li>
Design and manage commitment strategies such as Reserved Instances and Savings Plans.</li><li>
Lead cross-functional optimization initiatives with engineering teams.</li><li>
Establish tagging standards and cost allocation frameworks.</li><li>
Develop executive dashboards and reporting on cloud cost trends and risks.</li><li>
Support vendor negotiations and long-term infrastructure planning.</li></ul> 
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:<ul><li>
12+ years of experience in FP&amp;A, financial analysis, FinOps, or infrastructure cost analysis.</li><li>
Proven track record in establishing and maturing a FinOps practice, implementing governance, cost-allocation models, show back/chargeback, and optimization programs</li><li>
Deep knowledge of public-cloud pricing and billing models (AWS, Azure) and demonstrate success in optimizing committed spend, reserved instances, and savings plans</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Product Management to align financial outcomes with technical priorities</li><li>
Proven ability to lead automation and tooling initiatives that increase cost visibility, tagging accuracy, and real-time spend governance</li><li>
Experience in high-growth SaaS or multi-tenant environments with measurable improvements in cost efficiency and financial predictability</li><li>
Experience developing and presenting executive-level reporting and insights to senior leadership and boards, including trend analysis, variance, and risk projections</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>
Strong financial modeling and forecasting capabilities, connecting cloud spend to unit economics and business metrics</li><li>
Solid understanding of FP&amp;A, forecasting, and variance analysis</li><li>
Familiarity with infrastructure, automation, and cloud architecture as they relate to performance and cost</li><li>
Demonstrated operational discipline in building scalable processes</li><li>
Awareness of emerging cloud financial technologies, such as AI-driven anomaly detection, predictive spend models, and sustainability metrics</li><li>
Strategic thinker with a collaborative approach and strong influence across teams</li></ul>
