Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will help support our organization&rsquo;s financial health and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and passionate about delivering precise financial data that drives informed decision-making.Duties<ul><li>Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including recording journal entries and maintaining the general ledger using the accounting software QuickBooks</li><li>Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data</li><li>Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently, ensuring timely payments and collections</li><li>Prepare detailed financial reports, including income statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)</li><li>Conduct account analysis and account reconciliation to verify the integrity of financial information</li><li>Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation activities, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations</li><li>Support budgeting processes by tracking expenses and providing financial insights for planning purposes</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience with QuickBooks</li><li>Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping, debits &amp; credits, and journal entries</li><li>Knowledge of non-profit accounting practices is advantageous but not mandatory</li><li>Experience with governmental accounting standards and public accounting practices preferred</li><li>Ability to perform bank reconciliations, general ledger accounting, and account analysis accurately</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; proficiency in 10 key typing for data entry tasks</li><li>Familiarity with financial concepts such as budgeting, account reconciliation, and technical accounting procedures</li><li>Strong communication skills for financial report writing and collaboration across teams</li></ul>Join us to play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial operations!
