 Job Summary:
 
 
 
 
 This role is responsible for managing the Engineering Department and overseeing the development, coordination, implementation, execution, and control of Major Projects, ensuring alignment with the Company&rsquo;s strategy, commitments, and goals. The position leads multi-disciplinary teams, including section heads, senior project engineers, and engineers, to manage the department in accordance with the Company&rsquo;s requirements.
 
 
 The role is heavily focused on management of the engineering team and providing direction for technical problem-solving, decision-making, and portfolio analysis through the use of analytical and innovative approaches. The role-holder is also responsible for promoting, adhering to, and ensuring compliance with QAFCO&rsquo;s Occupational Health &amp; Safety, Environmental, Energy, and Quality systems and standards.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Accountabilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Support the Chief Major Projects Officer by overseeing and managing all Engineering activities, reviewing Project Team lessons learned and in finalizing the Lessons Learned Report.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure full implementation and adherence to the HSE Regulations and proper follow up of the HSE Procedures and Instructions in all areas of Work. Including, actively contribute to safety walks, reporting of accidents and investigation of accidents, if any.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and lead cross-discipline team and engineering coordination to align with project objectives and EPCC contract requirements, and compliance throughout the major project lifecycle
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and monitor engineering progress and ensure any deviations or concerns raised by the engineering team is managed and acted upon.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure engineering deliverables meet project milestones and commissioning-driven schedules.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and approve technical specifications, datasheets, drawings, and vendor documents.
 </li>

 Verify that material specifications align with project requirements and quality standards.

 Ensure all engineering documentation complies with EPCC contract requirements.

 Represent the Company in key engineering development activities such as HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, QRA, and 3D model reviews.

 Ensure closure and integration of action items from risk and design reviews into the engineering deliverables.

 Review and monitor fabrication schedules and progress.
 </li>

 Coordinate inspections and expediting with QA/QC teams.

 Collaborate and support the site installation &amp; mechanical completion to ensure the correct installation of systems and equipment.

 Manage engineering interfaces and tie-in readiness between Company and EPCC Contractor.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to monthly reports, board presentations, and audit documentation.
 </li>

 Align engineering deliverables with commissioning and start-up schedules.

 Manage and monitor progress against EPCC timelines and identify deviations.

 Ensure compliance with Environmental Impact Assessments and risk management plans.

 Contribute to and maintain the Project Risk Register and follow up on mitigation actions for engineering-related risks.

 Coordinate with internal departments (Operations, Maintenance, Projects) and external stakeholders.

 Support interface management for spare parts, tie-ins, and technical clarifications.
 </li>

 Monitor contractor compliance with technical specifications.

 Ensure readiness and quality of Company-supplied scope and tie-ins.

 Ensure timely availability of raw materials and Company-supplied items as defined in the EPCC Contract.

 Monitor schedules and progress, promptly detecting and addressing deviations from the EPCC Contract schedule.

 Shall ensure Project Close Out with EPCC Contractor in line with PIM and Project Procedures

 Initiate &ldquo;Project Changes&rdquo; affecting his function/ discipline in accordance with the Project Information Manual

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering or relevant discipline.

 15 Years of direct and relevant experience including 5 years at senior/ managerial level within the Oil &amp; Gas and Petrochemical Industry.

Engineering Manager - Major Projects

 Job Summary
 
 
 
 The role holder will be supporting the Head of Electrical in managing engineering activities related to the design, development, coordination, implementation, execution, and control of projects, ensuring alignment with the Company&rsquo;s strategy, commitments, and goals.
 
 
 The role holder focuses on providing technical guidance, problem-solving, decision-making, and analysis of the engineering department portfolio using innovative and analytical techniques. The main responsibilities are related to the Electrical Plants/ Field areas.
 
 
 
 Key Accountabilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Oversee design of electrical systems including substations, switchgear, transformers, and emergency power systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review single-line diagrams, load lists, cable schedules, and protection coordination studies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with IEC standards and EPCC Contract requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist the Head of Engineering in coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities to ensure alignment with Project objectives, EPCC Contract requirements, and Project procedures.

 Track and report progress of engineering deliverables, highlighting deviations and supporting recovery actions.

 Review, verify and comment on technical documentation submitted by EPCC Contractor, including datasheets, drawings, specifications, and vendor documents.

 Participate in kick-off meetings with subcontractors to align on technical scope, quality expectations, and schedule.

 Follow up on fabrication progress and support resolution of NCRs or fabrication defects reported by subcontractors.

 Act as a key advisor to Management, providing economic insights and ensuring all applicable proposed plant improvements, major capital projects, and investment portfolio decisions align with the company's short- and long-term strategies, market conditions, and sustainability goals.

 Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics in the global ammonia, urea and melamine industry to support strategic investment decisions.

Head of Economic Evaluation

 Job Purpose:
 
 
 
 The role holder is responsible to ensure that all assigned tasks are planned in a systematic, efficient, and economical way, to improve the safety, quality and reliability of the Production Plants.
 
 
 This role holder is responsible to develop scope of works for critical Rotating Machines (Turbines and Compressor) based on site inputs and inspection reports and prepare budgetary estimates for any materials and service requisition. The role will work closely with maintenance teams, technical, facility maintenance team and contractors to ensure update master plan for Turnaround related activities and coordinate with Production HSE, Logistic and other disciplines prior execution.
 
 
 The role holder must ensure that all Turnaround activities are carried out within Budget, Time Scheduled in compliance with QAFCO Occupational Health, Quality, Safety, and Environment procedures.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Accountabilities:

 Develop Turnaround scope for Rotating Machines including contract and spare parts requirement well ahead in accordance with agreed Turnaround milestones,

 Ensure work pack and personnel mobilization plan for unit and total Turnaround windows

 Focal point to provide technical input for tender plan, technical evaluation and presentation on contracts managed by the section related to Turnaround in the respective area of responsibility.

 Identify and ensure required resources, manpower, logistics, specialists, services contract, and spare parts are identified and ordered on time.
