 POSITION DESCRIPTION
 
 
 
 EnFin is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Engineering Manager to lead our software quality assurance and testing efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining testing strategies, ensuring high-quality software releases, and driving process improvements. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in software testing, and a keen focus on delivering customer-centric, reliable products.
 
 
 This position will be based out of one of our offices in Irvine, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Teaneck, NJ, with an in-office schedule that is set at the direct manager&rsquo;s discretion in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy, covering all aspects of software testing, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product management, DevOps) to define quality goals and integrate testing into the development lifecycle.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive continuous improvements in test automation frameworks and tools, enhancing test coverage and efficiency.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor and report on test progress, defect metrics, and quality indicators to stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the software meets quality standards for functionality, performance, reliability, and scalability before release.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and mitigate risks related to software quality and delivery timelines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Stay up to date with industry best practices, tools, and trends in quality engineering and testing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure software engineering standards and practices related to quality are ingrained in all design and development.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prioritize and deliver iteratively in a continuously changing environment.

 </ul>
 
 Required Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with a minimum of 8+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven experience with manual and automated testing strategies, frameworks, and tools such as Selenium, Jmeter etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and CI/CD processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid understanding of modern software architectures, including microservices, APIs, and cloud-based systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication and leadership skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience managing a global team; ability to build, motivate and develop a talented team of quality-minded engineers
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Preferred Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience working in the financial services industry (lending/leasing is a plus).
 </li>
 <li>
 Extensive knowledge and experience of Quality Assurance Engineering principles, Software engineering in test methodologies, and tools in Software/SaaS environments on cloud.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, such as startups or rapidly growing companies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Is passionate about technology and excited about the impact of emerging / disruptive technologies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing.

 The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job&rsquo;s minimum qualifications.
