 Position: Cost Control Engineer

 Job Purpose:
 
 
 
 Implement cost control procedures and analyze project costs to ensure alignment with budgets, providing reliable forecasts and supporting effective project decision-making.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 &bull; Prepare and maintain project cost control plans and budgets.
 
 
 &bull; Track and Monitor actual costs versus budget, analyze variances and identify trends.
 
 
 &bull; Develop cost forecasts and cash flow projections, highlighting deviations.
 
 
 &bull; Coordinate with project teams to validate cost data and implement corrective actions.
 
 
 &bull; Participate in the development of cost control procedures and templates.
 
 
 &bull; Manage cost coding and ensure proper allocation of costs to work breakdown structures.
 
 
 &bull; Analyze committed costs, accruals, and booked cost to identify variances
 
 
 &bull; Monitor CPI, SPI, CV and SV to assess project performance.
 
 
 &bull; Develop and Issue Key Performance Indicators to evaluate cost code allocation, productivity, resource utilization, project performance.
 
 
 &bull; Evaluate subcontractor and supplier cost .
 
 
 &bull; Assist with change management by assessing cost impacts of changes.
 
 
 &bull; Conduct cost risk analyses and maintain contingency allocations.
 
 
 &bull; Provide training to junior cost engineers and contribute to the development of cost control systems.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor's degree in engineering.
 </li>
 <li>
 5+ years cost control experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong experience in construction, road, and infrastructure projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical skills and ability to work within multiple project teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Training in cost control software and forecasting techniques.
 </li>
 <li>
 ERP System ( JD Edwards ).
 </li>
