Position Description 
The Contract Lab Associate I performs assigned manufacturing support duties in a ISO 13485 environment.

The contract duration is 1 year with the possibility to convert to full time role.

Job performance will involve a variety of activities including:
<ul><li>Ensure the cleanliness and availability of glassware and labware for production use.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Operate autoclave and ensure sterility of equipment and associated labware.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Operate Lancer glasswasher and ensure the cleanliness of labware.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensure the Sanitization area is appropriately stocked.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Prepare buffers and solutions.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Communicate as a team member with other functional groups, via face to face, email and written reports.</li></ul>

This position will be hired through a third-party agency and is not directly employed by QIAGEN. 
Position Requirements<ul><li> 
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from four year college or university and/or combination of experience and training. A degree is not a requirement if there is a significant amount of direct experience.</li></ul>
<ul><li>0-2 years related life sciences experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Ability to participate with others as a member of the team to ensure that demanding and difficult projects are handled smoothly and cooperatively to enhance success of project and maintain strong relationships within all parts of company.</li></ul>
