Position: Store Manager (Founding Store Team)Role Type: Full-timeExperience Required: 3&ndash;8 years in Retail / FMCG / QSR / Pharmacy / Supermarket OperationsRole OverviewWe are looking for a hands-on, energetic, and operationally strong Store Manager who can take full ownership of launching and running our first store. This is not a routine retail job &mdash; you will be part of the founding operations team, responsible for:&middot; Setting up the store from scratch&middot; Coordinating fit-out &amp; fixtures&middot; Receiving initial stock&middot; Building basic SOPs&middot; Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations after openingKey Responsibilities1. Store Setup (Greenfield Responsibilities)&middot; Assist management in finalizing store layout, fixtures, furniture, and merchandising plan.&middot; Coordinate with vendors, contractors, electricians, and IT teams during fit-out.&middot; Help implement the POS system, barcoding, stock numbering, and store-process setup.&middot; Ensure timely receipt, checking, and shelving of initial inventory.&middot; Create operational checklists, staff duty rosters, and opening/closing procedures.&middot; Conduct store readiness audit before launch.2. Daily Store Operations&middot; Manage daily store activities including opening, closing, cleanliness, display, and customer service.&middot; Ensure the store meets all SOPs and compliance standards.&middot; Monitor product expiry, freshness, FIFO, stock rotation, and hygiene.&middot; Handle returns, replacements, customer issues, and billing accuracy.3. Sales Growth &amp; Customer Experience&middot; Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.&middot; Build relationships with walk-in customers, local community, pandits, and repeat buyers.&middot; Maintain high standards of customer service and store ambiance.&middot; Execute local marketing activities as required.4. Inventory &amp; Supply Chain Coordination&middot; Maintain ideal stock levels; raise purchase requests in time.&middot; Coordinate with the central warehouse for inward/outward movement.&middot; Conduct daily stock counts and monthly physical audits.&middot; Minimize shrinkage, damages, and pilferage.5. Team Management&middot; Train and supervise store staff on product knowledge, billing, hygiene, and service standards.&middot; Allocate responsibilities, manage attendance, and ensure discipline.&middot; Motivate team to maintain service quality and sales performance.6. Reporting &amp; Documentation&middot; Maintain daily MIS: sales, footfall, stock position, vendor issues, and operational updates.&middot; Prepare expense statements and cash/bank reconciliation.&middot; Report operational challenges and improvement suggestions to HO.Ideal Candidate Profile&middot; Experience in FMCG retail, supermarket, pharmacy, kirana chains, or QSR.&middot; Strong knowledge of store operations, billing systems, stock management, and customer handling.&middot; Ability to work independently in a startup-like, fast-paced environment.&middot; Comfortable handling greenfield work such as store setup, vendor coordination, and process drafting.&middot; Good communication skills in Hindi; basic English understanding is sufficient.&middot; Willing to take complete ownership of the first store and grow with the company.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;35,000.00 - &#8377;40,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Current Salary -</li><li>Expected Salary -</li><li>Current Location -</li><li>Do you have experience in Retail Store Outlets / Super Market / Pharmacy / FMCG</li><li>Are you ready to relocate to Rajnandgaon -</li></ul>Work Location: In person
