Job Summary: The CAD Designer/Drafter will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Precision and attention to detail will be crucial in producing accurate drawings that adhere to industry standards.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Develop detailed drawings for mechanical components and systems based on specifications provided by engineers and designers.</li><li>
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure that designs meet technical requirements and standards.</li><li>
Revise drawings as necessary to incorporate feedback and ensure accuracy.</li><li>
Create schematics, layouts, and diagrams for various projects.</li><li>
Assist in the development of prototypes and models.</li><li>
Maintain documentation of all drawings and revisions.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Education &amp; Experience:<ul><li>
Experience in building and assembling mechanical components.</li><li>
Proficiency in CAD Software such as SolidWorks, Pro/ENGINEER, MicroStation, and inventor.</li><li>
Experience working as an AutoCAD drafter required.</li><li>
Bachelors&rsquo; degree in engineering, computer science, or related field preferred.</li></ul>
Skills &amp; Abilities<ul><li>
Strong understanding of technical writing and codes standards.</li><li>
Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.</li><li>
Ability to interpret and create mechanical design drawings.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.</li></ul>
Work Environment:<ul><li>
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li>
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.</li><li>
This position requires the employee to be present in the office, and therefore, attendance is an essential function of the position.</li></ul></div>
