TheArea Operations Manageris a key leadership role responsible for building capable, engaged production teams that consistently deliver safe, efficient, and reliable performance aligned with area and site goals.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
Lead with Purpose& Values

<li>Clearly communicates performance expectations, goals, and metrics to ensure alignment with customer requirements, production targets and safety standards.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Hires, retains, and develops team members to meet current and future capability needs while reinforcing safe work practices.</li>
<li>Coaches and provides regular performance feedback to strengthen skills, clarify expectations, and drive overall team effectiveness.</li>
<li>Uses recognition programs to reinforce desired behaviors and results.</li>
</ul>
Drive Operational Excellence
 
<ul>
<li>Engages the team in identifying continuous improvement opportunities, eliminating waste, reducing safety risks and removing barriers to performance.</li>
<li>Applies lean and digital tools effectively to improve processes and outcomes.</li>
<li>Serves as the primary sponsor of Operational Discipline within the area.</li>
</ul>
Execute with Business& Technical Acumen
 
<ul>
<li>Maintains strong knowledge of site, unit, and area products and customer requirements.</li>
<li>Uses business insights and cost‑modeling tools to evaluate needs and make data‑based decisions.</li>
<li>Applies basic engineering principles to solve both simple and complex technical problems, balancing speed, risk, and business impact.</li>
</ul>
Ensure Accountability& Performance
 
<ul>
<li>Organizes and deploys resources effectively to meet goals and maintain safe, efficient operations.</li>
<li>Completes administrative and compliance tasks accurately and on time.</li>
<li>Uses management systems to monitor performance and ensure commitments are met.</li>
<li>Energizes the organization by helping employees understand the broader purpose and impact of their work.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor degree within Science, Engineering or equivalent experience required</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years relevant experience within a manufacturing setting required</li>
<li>Extensive people leadership and ability to influence required</li>
<li>Digitally enabled tools and systems capabilities preferred</li>
<li>Six Sigma/Lean Practitioner, preferred</li>
