Our Senior Cost Analysts are responsible for assembling and providing information to Project Managers and Operations Management within their assigned Business Units regarding project current costs, commitments, and forecasts according to strict deadlines. This includes coordinating responses from field/operations personnel and gathering information from internal accounting systems, assembling accurate reporting workbooks, and interpreting data to predict project productivity trends. Time management, multi-tasking and a strong adherence to deadlines are essential to the position.
</div>Responsibilities:
<div><ul><li>Develop, maintain, and review cost forecasts, accruals, and budgets throughout project lifecycle.
</li><li>Compile and analyze actual job cost data from accounting systems and prepare forecasting workbooks.
</li><li>Collaborate with Project Managers to review change orders, verify committed costs, and support scope change requests.</li><li>
Assist in project budget setup and earned value structure development at project initiation.</li><li>
Effective, clear &amp; timely communication of data and trends to Project/Operations Management.
</li><li>Support the Stage Gate Process by performing rigorous evaluations of project development and control deliverables.
</li><li>Conducts analysis, optimization, and reporting on assigned projects, including evaluating risk, cost, and schedule performance against multi-year budget plans.</li><li>
Utilize industry standard KPIs and metrics for project cost analysis.</li><li>
Identifies and documents cost variances and recommend mitigation strategies to address potential impacts.</li><li>
Travel minimally on an as-needed basis.</li></ul></div>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>7+ years of project controls experience, including cash flow forecasting and analysis.</li><li>
Utilities, gas pipeline, electric distribution/transmission/substation, or renewable energy construction project experience preferred.</li><li>
Experience working both independently and, in a team, environment.
</li><li>Can conform to shifting priorities due to demands and timeline changes.
</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
</li><li>Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interface
</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate with internal, client, and regulatory counterparts.
</li><li>Strong computer skills.
</li><li>Willingness to learn and operate client provided programs and systems.
</li><li>Reasoning Development: Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form; strong problem-solving skills.
</li><li>Mathematical Development: Ability to perform computations involving electrical power.
</li><li>Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and properly identify issues requiring immediate attention from those that are less urgent. Develop project plans, orders resources and materials, holds job kick off meetings, and identify changes in work scopes.
</li><li>Ability to examine information, facts, and data, and draw logical conclusions from available information. Perform well under pressure and act prudently concerning the safety of others.</li><li>
Bachelors degree required; preferred disciplines accounting, business administration

Senior Cost Analyst

<div>Position Overview:
<div><b>
Power your Career with Qualus as a Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician!</b> We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented NOC Technician, or Network Specialist, to provide on-site technical support and proactive monitoring for network systems within a high-demand environment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment, network troubleshooting protocols, and enterprise monitoring tools. This is a full-time role offering a flexible schedule, supporting a critical operations team focused on maintaining uptime, performance, and network integrity.</div><div></div><div><br>
This position will be an onsite role in Sacramento, CA. There's Free Parking and a choice of work shift: either 3x12-hour days OR 4x10-hour days.</div>
Responsibilities:<p></p><ul><li><div><br>
Monitor and provide technical support for Cisco routers, switches, VoIP systems, and IP/SNMP-connected devices within WAN, LAN, VPN, and Wireless environments.</div></li><li><div>
Utilize network troubleshooting tools (e.g., ping, traceroute, nslookup, SSH/Telnet) to identify and resolve connectivity and performance issues.</div></li><li><div>
Collaborate with Network Engineering, Field Divisions, SOC, service providers, Telcos, and vendors to report and remediate network-related incidents.</div></li><li><div>
Work with 2nd and 3rd level support teams to ensure technical documentation is accurate and up to date.</div></li><li><div>
Leverage enterprise tools such as ServiceNow, network monitoring platforms, and MS Office suite to track and resolve events and incidents.</div></li><li><div>
Communicate clearly and effectively across teams to support real-time problem-solving and incident response.</div></li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>3+ years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar technical support role.</li><li>
Strong understanding of WAN, LAN, Wireless, VPN, and VolP networks.</li><li>
Strong understanding of TCP/IP addressing and multi-domain network architecture.</li><li>
Experience with enterprise tools including ServiceNow, MS Office, and network monitoring/event management platforms.</li><li>
Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting via SSH/Telnet, ping, traceroute, nslookup, and other common network tools.</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.Motivated self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving environments.</li><li>
Previous experience working in utilities, large data centers, or similarly structured technical environments (preferred).</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
