What Success Looks Like:
<ul><li>Receives direction from and notifies the supervisor/team lead when more work is needed.</li>

<li>Follows standard work for machine operation</li>

Production Associate I - Night Shift

<div><div>Quanex is looking for a Material Handler in Allentown, PA.
This position is responsible for working as part of a team in the moving of materials in and out of the facility in a safe, timely and efficient manner focusing on meeting the needs of both internal and external customers. Scheduled hours are Monday-Friday 6am-230pm.

What Success Looks Like:
<ul>
<li>Receives and stocks finished goods and pulls customer orders.</li>
<li>Loads bundles onto box trailers.</li>
<li>Scans finished goods when received, stocked, moved and shipped, verifying all information.</li>
<li>Locates orders and pulls orders with a forklift.</li>
<li>Secures loads.</li>
<li>Hooks and unhooks trailers and dolly.</li>
<li>Pulls and loads boxes using forklift.</li>
<li>Records/prints inventory activity information.</li>
<li>Straps down and secures flatbeds.</li>
<li>Enters and prints shipping documents (packing slips, B.O.L, etc.)</li>
</ul>
Education/Experience
<ul>
<li>2 years' experience driving electric and/or forklifts.</li>
<li>Ability to look up inventory locations in computer system.</li>
<li>Ability to perform physical functions of job (lifting of at least 50 lbs repetitively).</li>
<li>Forklift Certification preferred</li>
</ul>
Job Type: Full-time

The starting rate for this position is $19.50, with bonus potential.

What Success Looks Like:
<ul><li>Prepares R.F.E.'s for projects to implement new tools and equipment. The expectations for these projects can be large in nature and may be complex; they will have long-term impacts on the operation of our business and provide gains in profitability.</li>
<li>Leads the design estimation process, which includes determining the feasibility of design, estimates design times requirements, assembly, testing, and project costs.</li>
<li>Determines and calculates financial justification for projects through labor savings, efficiency gains, scrap reduction, safety hazard elimination, etc. Financial analysis to include IRR and payback period.</li>
<li>Responsible for the development of documentation necessary for manufacturability. This includes but is not limited to Bills of materials, Product Flow Charts, Part Drawings, Assembly Drawings, Schematic (Air, Lube, and Hydraulics) Piping Drawings and Orientation Drawings.</li>
<li>Communicates design intent to electrical engineering, ensuring electrical requirements are included in the design, and the product operates in the most efficient manner, without unnecessary complexity.</li>
<li>Manage total project activities with a plan for timely completion. The individual will be heavily involved in implementation teams and projects that have an impact to the overall success of the organization.</li>
<li>Provide technical assistance to all company departments, as well as other divisions and customer(s).</li>
</ul>
What You Bring:
<ul>
<li>Proficient in project management and communication skills.</li>
<li>Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess problems or issues with manufacturing equipment.</li>
<li>Fluent in SolidWorks and other applicable engineering programs.</li>
<li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.</li>
</ul>
Your Credentials:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent experience to prove capabilities.</li>
<li>Minimum of two years&rsquo; experience as a product/design/mechanical/manufacturing engineer or related engineering field.</li>
</ul>
The salary range for this position is $73,000 to $110,000 per year w/ bonus potential

Manufacturing Engineer

<div>Quanex is looking for a Machine Operator (Night Shift) - to join our team located in Orwell, Ohio. 
Shift: Monday - Thursday (8:15 PM - 6:45 AM)

Pay: Starting Rate: $16.00 an hour, more based on experience + 20% shift differential

In this role, you will be operating equipment used to make cabinet door parts such as moulders, sanders, cope machines, CNC machines, as well as assembling cabinet doors. This position requires prior machine operating experience, preferably in woodworking.
