Our team partners with prescribers, infusion nurses, and patients nationwide to ensure safe, timely, and compassionate delivery of life-saving treatments.</div><div><b>
Position Overview</b></div><div>
The Staff Pharmacist plays an essential role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring all prescriptions are filled accurately and in compliance with state and federal regulations. This position is ideal for a pharmacist with experience or interest in specialty and infusion therapies who enjoys working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. The role is part-time, with flexibility to transition to or support full-time hours when needed.</div><div><b>
Responsibilities</b></div><ul><li>
Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential interactions.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation standards (URAC, ACHC, USP &lt;797&gt;/&lt;800&gt;).</li><li>
Provide clinical guidance and patient counseling regarding specialty and infusion therapies.</li><li>
Collaborate with prescribers, nurses, and pharmacy technicians to coordinate patient care and medication shipments.</li><li><b>
Take charge in maintaining and improving daily pharmacy workflows to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration.</b></li><li>
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, and inventory.</li><li>
Support ongoing quality improvement, compliance, and accreditation activities.</li><li>
Assist the Pharmacist-in-Charge with policy updates and operational procedures as needed.</li></ul><div><b>
Qualifications</b></div><ul><li><b>
Education:</b> Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSPharm).</li><li><b>
Licensure:</b> Active Florida pharmacist license in good standing (additional state licenses a plus).</li><li><b>
Experience:</b> Minimum of 1&ndash;2 years in specialty, infusion pharmacy preferred.</li><li>
Experience in Pioneer strongly desired!</li><li>
Knowledge of specialty medication handling, cold chain, and REMS programs strongly preferred.</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.</li><li>
Excellent communication and organizational skills.</li></ul><div><b>
Schedule</b></div><ul><li>
Part-time position (flexible schedule, typically 20&ndash;30 hours per week).</li><li>
Ability to support full-time coverage as needed (e.g., vacations, increased workload).</li><li>
Monday&ndash;Friday; occasional weekend availability may be requested.</li></ul><div><b>
