Quickmed is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. You will play a vital role in supporting both patients and providers by handling a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations in our medical office.The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and capable of providing high-quality service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Interview patients and document basic medical history</li><li>Organize and schedule appointments</li><li>Update and manage medical records and insurance documentation</li><li>Arrange hospital admissions, referrals, and lab services</li><li>Check in patients and document information in charts</li><li>Assist providers during medical examinations and procedures</li><li>Prepare, clean, and maintain treatment rooms and medical equipment</li><li>Generate and distribute memos, letters, forms, and faxes</li><li>Handle basic accounts receivable/payable and maintain financial records</li></ul>Requirements &amp; Skills<ul><li>Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or Medical Secretary</li><li>Familiarity with medical office management systems and procedures</li><li>Excellent time management and multitasking skills</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Service-oriented with high social awareness</li><li>Proficient in MS Office and patient management software (e.g., EHR/EMR)</li><li>Strong organizational and planning abilities</li><li>Degree or diploma in Medical Assisting or a related field</li></ul>Why Join Quickmed?
