This position is onsite.About the Role:The Purchasing specialist is responsible for ordering and tracking all commercial Kitchen and Refrigeration parts for the technicians, and communicating with Dispatch and Service Managers.Job Details<ul><li>Answer incoming phone calls from field technicians, provide purchase order numbers, and resolve issues.</li><li>Order all HVAC/R parts for technicians from authorized vendors, provide ETA&rsquo;s and PO&rsquo;s to Technician and Dispatch Dept.</li><li>Provide Pricing and help finding parts for Technicians.</li><li>Track receipts of all Parts purchases, ensuring ETA&rsquo;s are met, and communicating any changes to Dispatch dept.</li><li>Support HVAC/R Parts Purchasing Coordinator during busy times.</li></ul>Job Requirements<ul><li>Attention to detail, job requires a high-level of detail-oriented work, and mistakes can be costly, and time consuming.</li><li>Interact with Customers, Vendors, and Field technicians to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.</li><li>Basic Computer Skills consisting of moderate to fast typing and knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, &amp; Word.)</li><li>Order and track restaurant equipment parts for field technicians.</li><li>Communicate estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) and any issues with Dispatch and Service Managers.</li><li>Answer incoming calls from technicians, provide purchase order numbers, and resolve part-related issues.</li><li>Source parts from authorized vendors and provide pricing and availability.</li><li>Track receipt of all parts purchases and update relevant departments on changes.</li><li>Basic understanding of HVAC, Refrigeration, or Electrical is a plus, but not required.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Company Paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance.</li><li>Company Paid Life Insurance.</li><li>Matching 401K.</li><li>Optional short-term disability.</li><li>Paid major Holidays.</li><li>Paid sick leave and vacation.</li><li>Unlimited opportunities for growth</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourExpected hours: No more than 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>To ensure that we are aligned, what is your salary requirements for this role?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Parts Purchasing: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Columbia, MD 21046 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Columbia, MD 21046: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
