Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will be essential in creating a warm, safe, and supportive environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support</li><li>Monitor patient health by checking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration regularly</li><li>Administer medication as prescribed, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and care plans</li><li>Support patients with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration</li><li>Observe and document patient conditions, behaviors, and progress to inform care plans and communicate effectively with healthcare teams</li><li>Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident&rsquo;s &lt;PERSON&gt; to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties aligned with health standards</li><li>Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive atmosphere for residents or clients</li><li>Follow all safety protocols including CPR, First Aid, and emergency procedures during incidents or health crises</li><li>Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans tailored to each person&rsquo;s needs</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in home &amp; community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings is highly preferred</li><li>Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer&rsquo;s care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is advantageous</li><li>Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus</li><li>Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks when assisting residents or patients</li><li>Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in health status</li><li>Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams</li><li>Compassionate attitude combined with patience and resilience in challenging situations</li><li>Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or overnight hours as needed</li></ul>Join us in making a positive impact every day!
