Position SummaryThe Auditor is responsible for conducting regular financial, operational, and compliance audits across Qureshi Group&rsquo;s head office and salon branches. The role ensures transparency, accuracy, and accountability in ledgers, inventory, assets, daily orders, and cash handling. The Auditor will identify risks, highlight discrepancies, recommend corrective actions, and support management in strengthening internal controls.2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Ledgers &amp; Financial Audit<ul><li>Review and verify all financial ledgers, journal entries, and bookkeeping records.</li><li>Ensure accuracy of transactions, proper documentation, and compliance with company policies.</li><li>Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, customer balances, and internal accounts.</li><li>Identify inconsistencies and coordinate with Accounts for rectification.</li></ul>B. Inventory Audit<ul><li>Conduct physical inventory audits at warehouse and salon branches as per management instruction.</li><li>Verify stock levels, expiry dates, consumption patterns, and wastage reports.</li><li>Ensure proper storage, tagging, and handling of products and materials.</li><li>Report shortages, pilferage, or overstock situations with corrective suggestions.</li></ul>C. Branch Cash Audit<ul><li>Perform surprise and scheduled cash audits at all branches.</li><li>Verify cash in hand, daily sales, POS reconciliations, and cash deposit slips.</li><li>Ensure compliance with cash management policies and identify irregularities.</li><li>Investigate mismatches (if any) and report findings to management.</li></ul>D. Asset Audit<ul><li>Maintain and verify updated asset registers for all branches and head office.</li><li>Check tagging, maintenance, condition, and depreciation of assets.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation and approval for asset movement or disposal.</li></ul>E. Daily Order &amp; Operations Audit<ul><li>Review and verify daily product orders placed by branches.</li><li>Check for accuracy, demand justification, and misuse or unnecessary consumption.</li><li>Ensure timely documentation and approvals as per company policy.</li></ul>F. Branch &amp; Head Office Audit<ul><li>Assist Manager Audit and Compliance in routine operational audits at salon branches and head office departments.</li><li>Evaluate adherence to SOPs, financial discipline, and HR &amp; operational policies.</li><li>Highlight gaps, non-compliance, and process weaknesses.</li></ul>G. Reporting &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Prepare clear and timely audit reports summarizing findings and corrective recommendations.</li><li>Maintain audit checklists, logs, and follow-up reports as per management instruction.</li><li>Assist in developing and improving internal audit procedures and SOPs.</li></ul>3.
