Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Software developer. This role is essential in providing support and guidance to individuals facing various challenges, including addiction and behavioral health issues. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of workforce development and be committed to fostering positive change in the lives of those they serve.Duties In this position, you will be responsible for:<ul><li>Conducting assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized service plans.</li><li>Providing addiction counseling and support to individuals seeking recovery.</li><li>Utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client engagement and progress.</li><li>Implementing crisis management strategies to address immediate client needs effectively.</li><li>Collaborating with social work professionals and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care.</li><li>Facilitating workshops and training sessions focused on workforce development skills.</li><li>Maintaining accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in compliance with Section 8 regulations.</li></ul>Experience The ideal candidate will have:<ul><li>A background in behavioral health, social work, or a related field.</li><li>Experience in addiction counseling or working with individuals facing substance use disorders.</li><li>Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques and crisis management practices.</li><li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage clients and collaborate with team members.</li><li>A commitment to professional development and continuous learning in the fields of workforce development and behavioral health.
