Job Location : Tiruppur Experience : Above 10 years Qualification : MBA / MSWJob Summary:The HR Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that the company's human resources practices align with local, state, and federal labor laws, as well as industry-specific regulations. The role involves overseeing the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies and procedures related to compliance in areas such as labor standards, workplace safety, employee rights, and ethical labor practices. This position requires expertise in labor laws, HR best practices, and strong attention to detail to ensure compliance within a dynamic textile manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Compliance Monitoring and Auditing:</li><li>Ensure the company complies with all relevant local, national, and international labor laws, including health and safety regulations, employee compensation, wage and hour laws, and anti-discrimination laws.</li><li>Regularly audit HR processes, employee records, and company policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements.</li><li>Conduct internal audits of HR documentation, payroll, recruitment, and other HR-related practices to identify areas for improvement or potential legal risks.</li><li>Policy Development and Implementation:</li><li>Develop, update, and maintain HR policies and procedures in accordance with the latest labor laws and industry standards.</li><li>Advise senior management on legal or compliance issues affecting HR operations and recommend corrective actions when necessary.</li><li>Establish clear guidelines and ensure proper training for HR staff to ensure compliance with labor laws, industry regulations, and company policies.</li><li>Employee Relations and Legal Consultation:</li><li>Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including disputes, grievances, and disciplinary actions, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and fair treatment.</li><li>Consult with legal counsel or external compliance experts as needed on complex or high-risk employment issues.</li><li>Ensure the company's HR policies promote a positive work environment and minimize legal liabilities related to employee relations.</li><li>Training and Education:</li><li>Develop and deliver training sessions for HR staff, managers, and employees on compliance-related issues, such as workplace safety, harassment, and diversity and inclusion.</li><li>Educate staff about their rights and responsibilities, including matters related to workplace safety and ethical treatment.</li><li>Ensure that all employees receive regular compliance training as required by law (e.g., OSHA training, sexual harassment prevention).</li><li>Health &amp; Safety Compliance:</li><li>Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations specific to the textile industry, including workplace safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and any local safety standards.</li><li>Work closely with the Safety Officer or Department to ensure that all safety measures are in place and that employees are trained on proper safety procedures.</li><li>Recruitment and Hiring Practices:</li><li>Ensure that the company&rsquo;s recruitment and hiring practices adhere to equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws and anti-discrimination policies.</li><li>Monitor hiring practices for compliance with regulations around worker visas, working hours, and child labor laws, if applicable.</li><li>Assist in ensuring diversity and inclusion practices are embedded in recruitment processes.</li><li>Reporting and Documentation:</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of HR compliance activities, audits, and investigations.</li><li>Prepare reports on compliance status, HR activities, and any incidents or risks that have been identified.</li><li>Respond to government agencies' requests for compliance information, including wage and hour audits, safety inspections, and labor investigations.</li><li>Risk Management:</li><li>Identify potential compliance risks related to HR practices, including wage discrepancies, labor violations, or workplace safety concerns.</li><li>Work with the HR Director to implement strategies to mitigate or eliminate identified risks.</li><li>Advise leadership on potential legal or financial consequences related to non-compliance and propose corrective actions.</li></ul>Job Types: Permanent, FresherPay: &#8377;70,000.00 - &#8377;90,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Food provided</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Leave encashment</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Ability to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Master's (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Human resources: 8 years (Required)</li><li>Compliance management: 8 years (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
