Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Backflow Tester and Sprinkler Service Technician, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of plumbing and irrigation systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, perform critical testing, and provide exceptional service to clients. You will be responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, and maintaining backflow prevention devices and sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and industry standards. Your expertise will help protect public health and support the seamless operation of irrigation and plumbing infrastructure.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct backflow prevention device testing in accordance with local regulations and ASME codes &amp; standards</li><li>Install, repair, and maintain sprinkler systems, including pipe fitting, tube bending, and system troubleshooting</li><li>Utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, and pipe threading equipment to complete precise installations and repairs</li><li>Inspect systems for leaks or malfunctions using mechanical knowledge; document findings thoroughly</li><li>Maintain safety protocols on construction sites</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in sprinkler work with a focus on maintenance, repair, and installation.</li><li>Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hand tools, power tools, calipers, tube bending equipment</li><li>Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe sizes or system specifications</li><li>Ability to work safely in confined spaces; comfortable on construction sites.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license required</li><li>Validation Idaho Backflow Tester License required</li><li>Ability to work as a team and work across service, install, and repair projects</li><li>Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing with customers and office staff</li></ul>Join us to be part of a team dedicated to excellent customer service in backflow prevention and sprinkler system service.Job Types: Part-time, TemporaryPay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 &ndash; 35 per weekWork Location: Hybrid remote in Hayden, ID 83835
