In this role, you will support communications and marketing initiatives specific to the aviation sector. <div><b>THE COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST WILL:</b></div>
<ul><li>Coordinate communications and marketing efforts for the aviation sector for both the Chicago and Dallas / Fort Worth offices.</li>
<li>Develop project profiles showcasing projects, challenges, and accomplishments for use in marketing materials, website and submittal requests.</li>
<li>Develop project related communications, presentations, and graphics.</li>
<li>Assist in designing and coordinating internal/external communications and sector specific materials.</li>
<li>Interact with Aviation Sector leadership at the VP and Director level on a regular basis.</li>
<li>Support specific internal communication initiatives such as the corporate newsletter, website content, and new hire announcements.</li>
<li>Create content, documents, and materials that follow organizational standards and branding.</li>
<li>Maintain and update project staff resumes.</li>
<li>Maintain project photography library.</li>
<li>Serve as a primary point of contact for aviation events, advertisements and sponsorships.</li>
<li>Support business development with proposal development and leave behind materials.</li>
<li>Support the company&rsquo;s presence on all relevant social media sites.</li>
<li>May also perform special projects or other reasonable business-related duties as requested including trade fairs and conferences</li>
<li>Reports to the Aviation Sector Leads</li>
</ul><div><b>WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:</b></div>
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related discipline from a four-year college or university.</li>
<li>Three to five years of communications and marketing experience is a bonus.</li>
<li>Strong organization skills and ability to balance multiple projects at one time.</li>
<li>Particular attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.</li>
<li>Proficiency with the MS Office suite, particularly Word and PowerPoint.</li>
<li>Reliability, enthusiasm, and a collaborative mindset.</li>
</ul>

<ul><li>Excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Prior experience in the AEC industry</li>
<li>Knowledge of marketing trends within the business-to-business marketplace</li>
<li>Understanding of website management systems</li>
<li>Experience with social media platforms</li>
<li>Prior experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign</li>
<li>Prior experience with search engine optimization</li>
</ul><div><b>Job Offer:</b></div>
<ul><li>Competitive base salary between $65 - 85K, depending on experience, skills, and location.</li>
<li>Annual bonuses are based on individual and company performance.</li>
