R&amp;P is looking for a Combat Systems Instructional Systems Designer / Instructor to support PMS 525 who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Manpower, Personnel, Training Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Design technical courses for International Military Students (IMS) for classroom, computer, and/or computer-based training (CBT). Courses are short in duration and must be created using technical material with Subject Matter Expert (SME) input/assistance for shipboard crew training programs. Courses must be developed for tactile learners using coaching, mentoring, and apprentice development delivery.</li><li>
Train MMSC sailors in the employment of the MMSC Operations Department and Combat System Department, to include Weapons systems, on: System capabilities and limitations; Employment of Automated Systems; Mission Planning, Execution and Communications in Classroom, Laboratory and/or Land Based Team Trainers.</li><li>
Leverage PMS-525 MPT&rsquo;s training program (Train to Qualify/Train to Certify), act as an independent assessor during crew certification events using virtual reality labs as well as underway on MMSCs.</li><li>
Develop task lists, course outlines, and learning objectives while also developing technically accurate training materials, lesson plans, trainee guides, exercise packages, technical manuals, and progress tests.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>B.S./B.A. degree in Education or Instructional Systems Design</li><li>
20 years&rsquo; experience as an LPO/CPO/DIVO/HOD/Deck Watch Officer/CIC(MCC) watchstander in the U.S. Navy</li><li>
15 years&rsquo; experience developing as designer, trainer, or educator for U.S. Coast Guard or U.S. Navy courses</li><li>
15 years' Shipboard systems training experience</li><li>
3 years' experience developing courses for international students</li><li>
3 years&rsquo; experience with Security Cooperation/Assistance/Mobile Training Teams</li><li>
3 years' international military training experience</li><li>
3 years' as a USN &ldquo;A&rdquo; &amp; &ldquo;C&rdquo; School Instructor and Curriculum Manager</li><li>
Designation as a Master Training Specialist</li><li>
Experience with MS Office suite programs</li><li>
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>
Ability to work productively with a team</li><li>
Strong computer and Internet skills</li><li>
Secret Clearance required</li></ul>
